Chapter 7 - Sparks flying for everyone, it seems

Dear Diary,

Time skip to O.W.L.'s

I remember as Umbridge stood in her funny little pink clothes and everyone else was sitting doing their O.W.L.'s.

I remember the little spark that came flying into the hall.

Then Fred and George (feat. Belle) bursting in with a whole lot of fireworks.

I remember the giant serpent firework that chased off Umbridge.

As we got out of our seats and out to the balcony, I remember Belle on her broom and George yelling at her.

I remember what he said.

"Now would be a great time to tell you that I really like you!"

Belle couldn't hear what he'd said so he went up to her and said it.

Then they kissed, so Seamus and I were like "what the hell." So we raced to the common room and made out while when everyone was outside cheering.

Yeah, we're that sort of couple now.

I always dreamed of having someone to do that with.

Back to the serious stuff now.

Wait, what serious stuff? There is nothing very serious about this whole thing.

Apart from saving someone's life.

Which I won't tell you about until it happens.

Even if I give you a clue it will give it away.

Like its anamaigus form.

Anyway...

It was my birthday on the 27th of August so Seamus got us promise rings. It's like black silver, if you know. It fits around my finger perfectly. I put a few diamonds on it and then made some of them green, Peridot. My birthstone. We;re promising to always (get that?) be there for each other. Just until we get married.

Um... am I still planning too far ahead?

After he gave it to me, I kissed him on the cheek. Then we made out.

Belle got me a book, The Book Thief. It's such a good book. If you haven't read it yet, you need to. I'm serious.

Hazel got me a big pack of Bertie Bott's, and a few chocolate frogs. I know it doesn't sound like much, but she knows me too well, I swear. If you didn't know, I like food. It's my life. It turns out she jinxed a couple and I had a dry, dry, dry Weet-Bix flavoured one. Thanks, Hazel!!

Liv got me a cushion she made. It's a NZ flag. It's not the normal red and blue, either! It's a aqua-ish colour, if you know.

Em got me Quidditch through the Ages, seeing as I'm on the Gryffindor team. Apparently I'm a pretty good Beater!

Hermione got me a charm bracelet which has a Deathly Hallows logo, a tiny broomstick, and a treble clef. I love it!

Harry got me a broomstick bookmark, which I decided to use for the Quidditch book.

And Ron. Sweet, sweet Ron. He got me a pack of coloured pencils. I found a spell to make them watercolour, as it's my strong point in art.

Ahh. I have such good friends.

Why? I don't deserve them.
