El waited until the nurse walked away and snuck to Max's room
She had asked about it earlier. She planned this.
El decided she felt good enough to disconnect anything and slowly walked to Max's room. She tiptoed into her room to find the gorgeous red-haired girl sleeping. El admired her. El walked closer to her bed and held Max's hand. El hugged her slightly, careful not to wake her up. But that didn't matter, because she woke up anyway. "El! You're alive! I thought you were done for- where are we? Are you oka-" El loved to listen to her speak, but she was feeling overwhelmed with questions. El leaned in and rested her lips on the other woman's. Max pulled away after a while and slowed down. "One question at a time." El said, in this way that made her think "holy- shes hot". Max stared at her and admired her beautiful brown eyes, and her beautiful curly hair. She thought this was the best moment of her life.
