After a few months of living together, el and max agreed to tell everyone. They got ready on what they were going to do. They invited Lucas and dustin because will already lived with them. Same with their parents. They sat them all down in the living room. "Why did you bring us here- this is just us sitting here." Lucas said. "Just wait until we're ready." Max said, a bit angrily. Will already knew what they were going to say- he walked in on them cuddling and saw them kiss. Max grabbed El's hand and squeezed. El squeezed back. They were ready. El took a deep breath. "Me and max are... more then friends." She said timidly. The others stared in shock (minus will and joyce). Dustin was the first to say something. "Wait- so you guys are gay?" Max facepalmed. "What do you think." Max said, in a joking way and a serious way. Dustin looked down in shame and everyone knew he said that without thinking. "We just wanted you guys to know because it feels like a thing your friends should know." Max said, at the realization probably no one cared. "Well, congrats." Lucas said "Thank you." Max said back. There was a lot of awkward silence because no one knew what to say. Will decided to go for it. "I KNEW IT!" Everyone looked at the hazel eyed boy as Joyce responded. "Me and hopper talked about it. He said they were just friends." Everyone laughed. Max looked at el and kissed her while no one would notice, to not get any attention. It felt like this moment could last forever. Eleven looked at her. "How did we ever meet? I hated you before and now we're living together." She said. "Well, its true love. We were bound to meet." Max said, softly. As their lips meet again, they couldn't help but think how wonderful each-other were.
