Chapter 6

We're all going to the club tonight. I'm fine but I can tell Nova is a little worried.

"Hey, you okay?" I asked looking through the floor length mirror at her.

"Yeah, just a little worried. I don't want anything to pop off again." She sighed.

I walked over to her and grabbed her face

"Tonight is going to be perfect. We're gonna dance, drink, a little, and have fun with our friends...and Laila."

That got a laugh outta her which made me smile. My mom had already picked up Namiko, so we were free to leave whenever. Nova was strapping her heals and checking out her outfit. She looked gorgeous as always wearing a white dress with a slit in the side. I wanted to stay here and rip it off her but I contained myself. When she was finally done we locked up the house and headed to the car.

We arrived at the club 30 minutes later. We walkrd in hand-in-hand as I looked around for the crew. I spotted Laila and she saw me too. She smirked and winked at me as I felt Nova squeeze my hand. I looked down at her as she rolled her eyes and let go of my hand making her way to V.I.P.

I walked behind her ignoring Laila, dapping up Maurice and the boys and hugging Cienna.

"No hey for me Kalidas?" Laila asked with a smirk

"Hey." I said blankly lighting a blunt.

I put it betwen my lips before Nova came over and took it away. The way she put it between her lips was so sexy but I was mad she took my blunt. She puffed it for a while then her and Cienna got up to go to the dance floor. She gave me the half smokin blunt before leaving.

"She got you whipped bruh!" Derrico laughed "Any other bitch would have got shot for that shit." He continued

I glares at him before going to the bar with Jayceon to get a drink.

"So you really like her bruh?" Jayceon asked me after the bartender got us a drink.

"Yeah, but I don't wanna make it official yet. I still wanna fuck bitches." I replied sipping my whiskey.

"Why you wanna mess with hoes when you got a good, loyal girl already wanting to be with you?" He asked looking at me like i was stupid.

I didn't answer because I truly don't know. Nova was a loyal girl and that's what a guy like me needed in the life I live.

I looked for Nova out the dance floor to see her dancing with some nigga. I instantly for heated and walked up to them.

"Aye, can I cut in?" I asked, but mostly demanded.

Nova rolled her eyes and the guy just ignored me. I grabbed Nova's arm and pulled her away from him. He tried to stop me but I flashed him my gun and he backed off.

"What the fuck is wrong with you, Kalidas!? You have NO reason or right to stop me from dancing with somebody else!" She yelled furiously

"You not suppose to be dancing with other niggas anyway!" I yelled back

"Who are you to tell me that!? You aint my daddy Kalidas!"

"I know I'm not cause ya daddy aint want ya stubborn ass!" I yelled not realizing what I said until it was too late.

Nova slapped me then ran into the bathroom with Cienna following her. I cussed under my breath before going to the car. I texted Cole and told her o make sure Nova got home safe. I pulled out the parking lot and went home to clear my mind.

It was close to 2 and Nova still wasn't home. I texted Cole to ask where they were and he said she was staying with them for the night. I sighed and laid down trying to sleep. Another hour went by and I still wasn't asleep. I sat up and sighed realizing I couldn't sleep without Nova.
