life and death

its been a few days since you meet your father hes been hanging out with the horses, so it gave you time to check on the golden ranch horses you put a for sale sign up plus the horses, but they needed help, so you've been working with them  

when you got back "hey honey what do you want for diner" he asked "i don't know maybe chicken and rice" you said "i don't know what that is" he said "I'll make diner dad" you said walking into the kitchen "can you go feed the horses" you said and he left as you made diner 

after diner your dad went to bed and then the phone went off "hello im yn owner of oak maple ranch how can i help you" you asked "well i was wondering if the golden ranch was still up for sale" he asked "yeah it is " you say "ok i was wondering if i can have a look at it" he said "yeah I'll be there tomorrow at 5-7" you say "ok" he said then hung up after that you go to bed 

you woke up around 4 and got ready when you were done you wrote your dad a note 'won't be back till 7 there's left over diner in the refrigerator and i have fed and watered the horses but you might have to muck out the stalls if im not back before 7' and hung it on the refrigerator and left for the other ranch

when you got there it was 5:05 and you were a red truck you got off royal and walked to the truck that was on and running so you knocked on the window when they roll down the window royal ran up to the window "sorry she's mine" you say moving her away "its no problem" he said turning off the car and coming out 

"why were you looking for a ranch" you asked "well i grew up on one and moved away a few months ago after a break-up" he said following you as you were walking to the house "oh im sorry" you said coming into the house 

after showing the house he asked a question "so what happened to the other guy that lived here" "well he left after his horses needed help" you say walking to the stables "what do you mean they need help" he asked worried "well they don't need help anymore he abused them so when i found out he tried to shoot me then left" you said not looking at him 

"These are the horses their names are on the door and call me if you wanna buy it" you said going to the house after you gave him your card after a few hours the phone rang "hello im yn owner of oak maple ranch how can i help you" you asked "i was wondering how much the land was" a guy asked through the phone "its 12000" you said "ok" the guy said then hung up after a few hours "im never gonna sell this stupid land" you said thinking you were alone "actually i want to buy the land" a guy said and you got up "really" you asked "umm yeah" he said "that's great but i don't have the paper work ill have it tomorrow" you said "that fine umm you wanna go to dinner with me" he asked "sure" you said walking out the house to the drive way "are we gonna take my truck" "oh no were going county" you say grabbing another black horse "were taking royal and Nyx" you say grabbing Nyx and putting reigns on him "what about the saddle" he asked "they have a problem with saddles" you said jumping on royal 

"Come on cowboy its not bad" you say holding onto royals' hair as he jumps on Nyx you guys' ride to a stake place grab the stake to go and go back to the house you guys laugh and eat then you and him leave when you got home it was about 9:30 so you put royal away and were trying to be quite when you came in the house but then a light came on "where were you" you dad asked "i was out" you say taking off your jacket "yn its 9:30" he says "yeah and im 21 almost 22 so what's the big deal" you said "really well the big deal is that you are always home by 8 and never out that late" he says "well im not little and growing up without anyone was not nice so maybe you should just stop trying to treat me like a 13 year old" you said then went to bed
