Unknown POV

Who am I? When someone usually asked me this, I would just roll my eyes at them or say, "What's it to you?" Or in one of those rare instances be dragged away by one of my goody two-shoes friends before things got too complicated as they put it.

But since this is a story I can't do either of those things. So, I might as well tell you how it all began and it all started with my awakening that morning.

3rd Person POV

That Morning

Beep! Beep! Beep!

"Ah!" Growled the teenage girl as she reached out to turn off her alarm. Removing her right arm from under her quilt she hit the table to silence her alarm. Which she did not have such luck with as it was still beeping.

Beep! Beep! Beep!

"Ah, will you shut up!" Yelled the teenage girl frustratingly as she finally sat up and hit her alarm which silenced it.

"Finally!" She said with a sign. She threw herself back into her pile of pillows and said, " Absolute...."

Bang! Bang! Bang!

"Silence...." She turned her head to the door. Clearly, frustrated with the interruption of her peaceful morning rest.

The banging on the door let up as a male voice came through and said, "Yo cous, get up! You're going to be late for school!" With one last bang on the door the male owner of the voice footsteps soon could be heard leaving the door and down the wooden steps. Ignoring her older cousin's reminder, she settled back into her bed and thought,'Who needs school anyway?' With her head falling to her pillow.

"You do and if you don't get up this instant you'll be late! Now, up with you child and I want you downstairs in 10 minutes! Is that understood?" Said another voice coming from the door not even a minute later. But this time it belongs to a female with a slight New Yorker accent.

'How does she do that?!' She thought to herself before she decided to reply.

The voice belongs to the girl's aunt. The girl sighed and was not too happy with her aunt demanding her to leave the sanctuary known as her room. However, she got up nonetheless and said, "Yes, Aunt Ann!" With that, a second set of footsteps were her leaving the door.

She frustratingly removed the quilt from her body and stretched to her full height. She looked around the room to see what she would wear today.

Soon her eyes landed on a burnt orange button-up blouse and blue jean skirt that she tossed on the floor days ago.

"Eh, good enough." She said to herself as she started to prepare for the day. She lazily draped the quilt over her bed before going to get dressed.

She quickly replaced her pajamas with the blue jean skirt and just as she was starting to do the last buttons on her blouse, a knock was heard at the door.

"Come in." She said, doing the last button on her blouse. The knob of the door turned and revealed a tall male about 5'11 with short brown hair and blue eyes.

He said, "Oh, Serenity. Look what I got!" In a childish tone of voice. He holds up a dark brown leather jacket that was clearly too small for him but the right size for her.

At the sound of her name, Serenity turned around and saw her cousin Nick holding her favorite brown leather jacket.

She said, "Ah, I wonder where that was." As she walked over to take the jacket only for it to be pulled out of her reach as Serenity yelled, "Nick!" in a frustrating tone of voice.
