"how long is he going to take?" asked barbie
"how should i know? i don't keep track- there he comes"
a black car pulls up to the impala revealing the middle child of the winchesters. barbie smiled as she saw her older brother, sam come out and make his way over to the others. sam greeted his siblings while barbie hugged him tightly. sometimes (or all the time) barbie looks up to sam, and all the time, sam feels like he lets her down.
"the teams back together! you seriously missed a fun case, we dressed up as cowboys" barbie said
"i'm sorry, we?"
"she means her" dean answered
"i have picture that say otherwise" responded barbie
sam's eyes widen while dean's face turns angry at his sister. barbie fished out her digital camera and showed it to sam, going through the pictures; sam let out laughs before finally dean said that was enough and told the both of them to get into the car or he was leaving.
"someone's mad" barbie joked
they started driving for a bit, sam talking about being lucifer's vessel, dean talking about him and barbie's back to the future adventure. ("the future was ugly, no fashion sense anywhere" barbie answered)
they ended the day with a stay at a motel. now that sam was back, barbie was asking for her own room. dean only gave in because he didn't want to hear barbie in the morning or night to hurry up, or deal with the smell of perfume or deal with barbie taking forever in the bathroom.
"toodles!" barbie said, going into her room
dean rolled his eyes in annoyance before finally leading sam and him into their room.
barbie was relieved with the break from dean, who rarely took care of himself and stunk! barbie couldn't understand how dean could live with himself like that? but now barbie had a room all to herself. the youngest winchester changed into her pjs and did her nightly facial routine, before finally settling into her bed and turning on the tv just for the OC to be airing. barbie's energy went up before sitting up and watching the show unfold.
barbie always had the biggest crush on summer roberts, thinking that seth cohen did not deserve her whatsoever but that was her idea. watching the show as a teen growing up, dean would make fun of barbie watching a show like the OC but barbie never listened. and if dean made fun, he watched every episode with her except once she went off to college and watched it with her sorority sisters.
well, that's when barbie assumed, but in reality when barbie left, dean still watched the show from start to end.
there was a loud shout from dean next door that said: "are you seriously watching that california show?"
barbie ignored her brother's yells before focusing back on the show and eventually falling into a deep sleep.
