barbie was sitting in her bed, looking at the floor. cas was gone and leviathans had taken over. the youngest winchester wasn't sure what to do, everything just felt wrong, felt negative. barbie takes a deep breath before walking down the stairs to see sam freaked out.
"everything fine?" asked barbie, looking at dean
"yup, everything's fine" dean replied
barbie wasn't sure if dean was upset with her or just neutral with her. with dean, his emotions towards barbie tend to switch around a lot and barbie is never sure what to do or say. kind of reminds her when she was still with john.
how barbie practically tip-toed around him when she was younger.
"any ooze invasion news? any leads?" sam asked
"i put news out to other hunters but so far, nothing has come up"
"how are you doing?" barbie asked, moving the conversation to sam
dean told sam not to lie and say he's fine.
"well, i'm not okay" responded sam
"no, really?" dean answered in sarcasm
sam looks down, causing barbie to snap at dean to leave sam alone. but dean wasn't having it saying they acted like he had it under control when in reality he didn't. sam continued to stay before dean asked what was going on.
"it's not just flashbacks anymore, but more like seeing through the cracks, like i can see him.." sam shares; him being lucifer
"what does that mean?" barbie asked
"i'm having a hard time figuring out what's real or not" sam confuses
barbie frowns, looking at dean who was trying to figure out what was going on with sam and how he could help him. but as dean talked to sam, the middle child winchester kept glancing over to the side as if someone was there talking to him.
"are you seeing him right now?" dean asked
sam just nods before dean assures him that lucifer was not real. sam shares that lucifer says the same thing about him.
barbie felt her stomach drop, in worry of her brother who looks so tired and worn out but what can she do to help? barbie didn't even know what was going on with her. the vampire felt horrible before telling sam she'll make him a cup of tea.
"what's a cup of tea gonna do?" snapped dean

later on, sam was assembling and reassembling his gun in silence.
barbie wasn't sure how she could help her brother. she felt useless not being able to help sam. everything was just changing.
barbie was the same person she was when she was brought back into hunting, but there was one thing that she still loved that could help.
