Prisoner

Innocently imprisoned,
It was not the type of pain I envisioned,
It was gruesome behind cell walls,
It appeared no one could hear my calls at all.

Falsely arrested and sent away for good,
Locked inside a dark room like I was hidden under a hood,
I could not get away,
There was no bail anyway.

The people in this prison were in no way kind,
That was because this prison was Indeed in my own mind.
