Today was the day. The day that I was leaving to go to my Aunt Alana's beachfront mansion in Oahu. My passport was in my hands and my luggage was behind me. The airport near my house was filled to the rim with different people. My Aunt Caroline dropped me off and now for the first time I was alone. All by myself. No longer was there a "we" but and "I".
The security system was rough. Every girl in front of me had to take off their 40 pounds of jewelry and the. Almost make me late for my plane. To be completely honest, I've never been on a plane until now. It smelled like the freezer section of a grocery store. The recycled air felt... Dry. I was in economy not first class, therefore there were screaming babies, weird smelling people and muffled pop music coming from a knockoff laptop a few rows back.
