George: “Phhheww! That was close!”
You: “I know! They nearly caught us!”
Leah: “That was really scary!”
Leah was nearly crying as she’d never experienced anything like it before. She hugged you both tightly.
George: “It’s okay Leah! I have to put up with it everyday! I would never let them hurt you!”
Suddenly your phone went. It was a text from JJ!
‘I think you better check the internet!’
You and George ran to the computer and typed in ‘George and (Your Name)’ and you couldn’t believe it! Within 5 minutes of press working out where you were, you were top story in the news!
George: “OH MY GOSH!”
The press snapped a picture of you and George holding each hand of Leah! The head line was ‘Secret Child!’
The paparazzi actually made it look like Leah was you and George’s secret child that has been kept quiet about for years!
You: “This is madness!”
George logged on to Twitter and said it straight!
‘Just to confirm, I am not a Dad! Leah is (your name’s) younger sister!’
Then you wrote the same on your twitter.
The next day came. It was Christmas eve! You all had a lovely breakfast and got dressed.
George: “Right! I better go! I have to help my Mum with the food for Christmas!”
Leah: “Noo! Don’t go!”
George: “I have to! I’ll be here for boxing day I’m sure!”
He grabbed all his stuff from upstairs and shoved it all in his boot. You carried Leah on your hip and walked outside to say bye to George. He gave Leah a very big cuddle and a kiss.
George: “Be good!”
Leah: “I will! Love you!”
George: “Love you too!”
George kissed you on the cheek softly.
You: “Text me when you get home!”
George: “Will do! Love you Princess! Have a good Christmas!”
He jumped in the car, and you and Leah waved as he drove off.
Leah: “Owww! I miss George!”
You: “Me too!”
You carried Leah back inside out of the cold. You started thinking about how miserable you’ll be without him. What if the nightmares come back!? How will you sleep at night?! But you knew you had to smile. It’s Christmas and no one wants to see you down!
Mum: “Hey girls! You need to get ready for the big Christmas party tonight! All the family’s gonna be there!”
