She saw the lightning rod enticing the beginnings,

He saw the crimson tone blotching the memories.

She walked on plinths of longing and trust,

He walked on pillars of family and commitment.

She saw the chaos enveloping the fatal endings,

He saw the rays of hope plighting the lifelong metaphors.

She watched her silence take comfort to detonate her thoughts,

He watched his heart take control to understand her broken parts.

She saw the language of love inducing the fear of never,

He saw the traces of empathy and joy enforcing the path of forever.

She wailed on the possibilities of not being enough,

He waltzed on the possibilities of not finding another.

She wandered the naïve parts of her heart to find an end,

He wandered the ruined parts of her heart to never end.

She wisped a love so fragile and grave

The thought of being content diminished with every pain,

He wisped a love so overpowering and honest

The thought of letting go rescinded with every smile on her face.

She chose not to be loved but he chose to love her despite all the wandering thoughts of if there would ever be a tomorrow and that path alone made her realize that she had found a forever home and every broken road mapped in her head warped to seal a better tomorrow with him by her side.
