I'm sorry what?" He frowned as I giggled.
"Stop giving me that look"
"No. What do you mean that you like him? I'm getting a heartattack right now"
"Siddharth, I want to be honest with you, like I wanna tell you every single thing"
"Tell me baby" he said, I kissed him once before clearing my throat.

"Okay" I looked back to make sure Riyaz wasn't here.
"So I did like Riyaz, he made me feel special Siddharth. I laughed every single time I was with him and I don't know one day he confessed that he liked me when I was sleeping and I was shocked that he thought of me that way but--" he took a deep breath.
"I'm really afraid by the way you're speaking" he said as I shook my head.

"But I realised it was just an impulsive feeling, I cannot think of anyone else than you as someone who I wanna spend my life with. During this time apart I realised how bad I needed you, I craved for your love Siddharth and I'm not even joking" I cupped his cheek as he smiled widely. I love him, I love him to the moon and back.
"I'm ready to fight anything for you Siddharth, even Ritika" I said as he laughed.

"You don't have to fight anyone, I'll protect you with all I have" he said.
"You know sometimes it's scary that I trust you so much, what if you're like using me to get your revenge and then one day you're like 'Avneet you're so easy to fool' omg I would die if that--"
"You really have a wide imagination, don't you?" He laughed as I giggled.

"I mean I sometimes-"
"Shut up and kiss me sweetheart" he said as I smiled and kissed him. He ran his hand all over me as was losing it, I pushed him back so he was almost laying down and I hovered him kissing. It was getting too hot, he was so good at this.
"Gosh you're perfect Avneet" he murmured. He ran his hand under my shirt as I almost gasped.

"I would love to take this further only if we weren't on your best friends couch" he said as a laugh erupted from me. He put both of his hands behind his head and looked at me.
"I'm a lucky bastard Avneet" he said as he eyed me from up to down. I quickly covered myself with my arms, I feel embarrassed. He pulled my hand down.
"Let me enjoy my view baby" he groaned.

I soon got up from him as we heard the door opening. Before I could get down from Siddharth's lap Riyaz saw me. I could see the disappointment in his face. He wanted to say something but he quickly went to the kitchen.
"I think you should talk to him baby" I nodded as I pecked him and followed Riyaz to the kitchen.

He was filling up a glass of water.
"You getting some water?" I asked trying to be causal "Isn't that obvious?"
"Woah woah what's with the attitude"
"How'd it go with Siddharth, I'm guessing it went well considering the position you were in" he's upset.
"Riyaz are you really gonna do this?"

"Do what?"
"This. Whatever you're doing right now. Giving me the cold shoulder"
"I'm not giving you a cold shoulder, it's all in your head Avneet" he said as I sighed.
"Be honest with me Riyaz, you're acting different since Siddharth came here, why is that?"
"Because he hurt you and I don't like that you're letting him in your life again, I can't see him hurt you again"

"He won't Riyaz, he loves me and he's definitely not the person you're thinking he is"
"I'm done with this conversation" he moved to leave but I held his hand.
"You're not leaving before you answer me, why are you acting like this? You're making me feel guilty like I did something wrong"
"You did. Avneet, this past month, it was just us. Did he take care of you? Did he put an effort to win you back? No. It was just us. Why don't you get that?"

"What do you mean just us? You very well knew that Siddharth was still in the picture"
"I don't think this conversation is going anywhere lets just drop it---"
"Why are we arguing Riyaz?"
"Because you don't know what you're putting yourself into"
"No it's because you have something else in your mind but refuse to admit to it" I said pointing it out.
