FORGOTTEN EMPRESS

Chapter 7

EMPRESS LI CHEN POV
"What have you done you wrench" Qing Shi bawl in anger, glaring at me as a way to convey his hatred and promise of punishment.

"Honey, don't your stress yourself on this waste of air. I am sure once we throw her back into the pit she will relearn her lesson" Consort Su leered evil fully, widening her lips at my supposed resigned fate.
I stood still, emotionless staring at the two clowns who still thinks that the have control over me.

Qing shi huffs in frustration, loosing his robes in hope of reducing the amount of anguish he was feeling over the possibility of a broken bond between the two countries.

Swiftly, Qing shi looks at me marching towards me with purpose and stopping when he was in my space.
"You bitch!!! Why are you not saying anything!!! Fix this or I promise you will not get to see the light of day" He swore angrily, i could imagine the smoke coming out of his ears and nose, making me laugh.
In a flash, I felt hands on my neck choking the life out of me why I struggle to breathe. 
"You want to make me a fool? You see me as a fool? You good for nothing piece of shit! I did not go through hell for a nobody to spoil my regime, fix this or you and your entirely family die" Qing shi lashes out adding more pressure to my neck.
I could not breathe or see as I scratched, hit and tried to pry his hands off me. I hardly understood what he was saying while I hanged on a thin rope of life.
No, I can't die like this, I am yet to take my revenge.  I am yet to experience life, I am yet to live, NO I refuse to die like this!

"Ah!! " Qing Shi shouted in pain, clutching his bleeding hand as he fell sideways. Consort Su rushes to his side trying to stop the bleeding as he holds his hand.
I grasped loudly, my lungs greedily taking as much air as it could resulting in me coughing.
I looked at Qing shi who was already looking at me with venomous eyes while my eyes are eye and watery as the outcome of his choking.
"YOU!!! How dare you stab your emperor!
Guards! Take this wrench away and throw her into the pit!" Qing shi bellow out while Consort Su heals his injury.

Guards rushes in, heading to detain me but stops when the see I have raised my pin to my neck adding pressure to draw blood.
"What are you doing you-"
"Take one more step and I will kill myself" I threatened
"You will be doing us all a favor" Consort Su mocked
"Ha! I thought you were slow but not stupid Su, if I die now what do you think will happen? Emperor of Quxia is already suspecting you of abuse, if I die mysteriously you will be proving their suspicion right and I still win"I could not help but laugh out mocking their stupidity.

"I order you as the Emperor and your husband to put the pin down" Qing shi commanded frustratedly as if he had any power over me
"I order you to shut the FUCK UP as the Empress and daughter of general Shi" I shouted menacingly staring at him as if my eyes can send daggers.
"Now move or jeopardize your regimen" I stated smiling at the fact that I have the upper hand for once.

Qing Shi brows was squinted in annoyance as he looks at me with different emotions flashing through his eyes.
Finally he raises his hand, signaling the guards to make way for me to pass through.

I walk pass raising my head up with the pin still to my neck, roaming my eyes back and forth still not in trust of them to not attack me.

Eventually I reach outside and I could finally drop my hands, breathing in fresh oxygen of freedom with a smile on my face

Though my hair was disheveled, my clothes rumbled and stained with blood , my neck bruised and red from the abuse.
I felt free and happy, it is the first time I had the upper hand,it is the first time I was not dragged like a dog and the first time I fought for myself.

I feel happy.
For this is the beginning and also the end.
