𝐓𝐇𝐄 sight of the breathtaking cabin came into view as the car drove down the well-maintained road. The closer you had gotten to the cabin, the more you couldn't wait to explore every inch of the vacation home.

Of course, Bruce noticed how excited you had become when your eyes landed on the cabin, and he couldn't help but smile at the all-too-beautiful sight. Something he surely could never get tired of no matter how much he tried.

"Y/n you seem far happier than I would have assumed, have you never been to a cabin during a vacation?"

He questioned, watching your head turn to look at him.

Somehow, your grin widened into a more childish one at his words. "I have a few times. But never one like this one!" And you weren't lying. Throughout your childhood, you were never able to experience such luxuries that Bruce provided. You had never even dreamed of it as a kid because the things your parents did were good enough for your child mind.

He hummed in response, a small smile resting on his lips. As the car came to a stop and the engine shut off, excitement bubbled in your chest worst than it had before.

You didn't even wait for the bodyguard or Bruce to open your door before rushing out of the car, almost falling over in the process. Never have you ever been so excited about a simple vacation cabin. And the thing was, you didn't even know why you were so excited. You just were. And Bruce loved the excitement that basically radiated from you.

"Woah Y/n! Slow down a bit," bruce chuckled as he got out of the car and speed-walked after you, trying to catch up with you the best he could, "God you're eager to get in there.."

He let out a short, tired breath and put his hands on his hips. At that point catching up with you wasn't worth the feeling of exhaustion he'd feel right after.

Yeah, he had stamina, but not as much to keep up with you.

Whilst he calmly walked after you, you were already in the cabin with your mouth agape as you took in every inch of the large but insanely beautiful place you'd be staying in.

Bruce walked up behind you and wrapped his arms securely around your waist, bringing you into his chest. "Is it nice? I really do hope it is to your liking. The people who built this place didn't have much time to get everything I asked for, which is honestly a bummer. You could have had a spa to use if they would have been able to work better."

Towards the end of his sentence, you could hear the slight venom in his voice. That kind of concerned you, you didn't peg him as the type of person who'd get annoyed by such a thing. It just didn't sound like him.

Or maybe by being with him for such a long period of time, he was starting to show his true colors. But who knows?

"It's fine Bruce, really. A spa isn't that important anyways. I'll be able to live without it. I've spent my whole life without it." You reassured Bruce, hoping he'd just let the whole situation go and forget about it as soon as can be.

He gave a short hum in response and kissed your forehead, smiling softly as he did so. "Well how about this: we can go shower, after that, you stay in the room for a while, and I'll bring you a little prize." You turned to look at him with curiosity beginning to get the better of you. "A prize? For what? I don't even remember doing anything."

He simply smirked and took his arms from around your waist. "Well, surely what we did on the jet hasn't left your mind already? If so, that's quite insulting towards-"

Blood rushed to your cheeks as you realized what he was trying to imply. In an ever-so-casual voice by the way. "No I didn't forget, I just wasn't sure what you were trying to say. And I didn't think I'd get a reward for having..." You trailed off as your eyes widened and your lips parted at him.

Bruce's hands were skillfully undoing the buttons of his white button-up shirt, revealing a quite pleasing sight that never ceased to make you believe he wasn't human. There's no way he was. How can a man be so perfect? It's baffling, to say the least. Especially when he knows the effect it has on you.

A throaty laugh escaped from his lips. His shoulders shook as he audibly showed his amusement. "Y/n you are something else." He chuckled quietly, wiping invisible tears from his eyes. What he found so funny was beyond you. But whatever it was, it certainly cracked him up.

"Stop being so corny." you snorted, "And lets go shower."

He rolled his eyes. "I'm not corny, I just have a better sense of humor than little miss you." He ended his sentence with a finger pointed at you, directly in your face. You smacked his finger away, playfully glaring at him. "You wish."

With a hand on his hip, Bruce swayed his finger in front of your face. In an somewhat scolding motion.

"I do not partake in such things. I am far better than that. If I want something," he paused and looked at you to make sure you were still listening, "I'm sure I can get it somehow."

Now it was your turn to roll your eyes, and you did. Bruce's words leaked with annoying confidence that you did not care to pay much attention to. So you simply turned around and began walking away from him. Leaving him with no choice but to follow you and a dumbfounded look on his face.

Of course you didn't know where any of the rooms or bathrooms were, but so what? You'd find it sooner or later.

'Life is only as tough as you make- where did he go?'

You had turned around, but Bruce was nowhere to be seen. As if he wasn't just behind you only a few seconds prior.

"That motherfucker.."
