Me, Yasmine, Moon, Sam, and Isabella were sitting in some booth, Sam was asking us for relationship advice. She showed us her text from Miguel.
"Desperate."Yasmine said "But Cute. He knows he's in deep shit."Yasmine said
"I just...I feel like things have been off lately." Sam responded "Before or after he went on a joyride to Mexico?"I asked "Both. There's so much I wanna say. Maybe I should just lay it all out?"Sam asked
"No!"Yasmine said grabbing the phone "Less is more."She finished "I'm with Yas. It's better to have these conversations in person."Moon said and Sam looked at me "Honey if it's that important in person is better."I said to her
"Mhm. Keep it short, not sweet."Yasmine said "'I'm okay' should I add a smiley face or something?"Sam asked
"No!" "Nah." Yasmine and Isabella said "Yes!" "Definitely" Me and Moon said and we all four stared at each other, spoiler alert Sam went with none.
We then went to a spa or something Moon suggested..I should've known what I was expecting. We walked in "Moon this place is so you."Sam said uncomfortable "Isn't it?"Moon responded excitedly
"When Eli and I broke up, there was a lot of negative energy. This place helped cut through the noise. Which is why I brought you here. You gotta find yourself. Figure out who you really are."Moon said to Sam
"They also do facials." Yasmine said "And mani-pedis"Isabella said and Moon led us to a room
"What is this exactly?"Sam said to the big pod "This is a self-actualization pod."Moon said "So like a sensory deprivation tank?"I asked "Oh no no no."Moon corrected
"They don't them that anymore. It's not about deprivation. It's about connection with your innermost self."Moon said and I was confused "Thanks, but I'm still gonna pass. I have nightmares about drowning in shallow water."Sam said
"Wow. that's dark."Yasmine said and I nodded "Sam, ever since the tournament, you've been off balance. It's clear there's been some tension with Miguel. The only thing your gonna find in this pod is yourself. That's not so scary, right?"She asked
We all got into a pod but and I didn't really get a vision more like a peaceful image on a beach. Once it was over we all got together and went to Sam who poor thing saw a nightmare.
Me and Isabella got a mani-pedi after that.
"Did I tell you what happened at my Great-Aunt Daniela's party she had this weekend?"She asked me "No but do go on."I said to her
"It was supposed to be a murder mystery weekend at Great-Aunt Daniela's creepy old mansion."
"Let me guess, it went off the rails?" I asked her
"Totally," She confirmed.
"First, Aunt Valeria's parrot, Jasper, got hold of the murder mystery script and started squawking out clues, ruining the game before it even started. Then, Uncle Antonio, playing detective, took his role too seriously and unearthed a bunch of family secrets—like Aunt Maria's secret marriage to a circus performer and Cousin Diego being a hot dog eating champion."
"That sounds chaotic."I said looking at my nails, I got a light green color she got a light pink
"Wait, it gets crazier," Isa continued. "In the middle of all this, we hear a crash from the attic. We find Great-Aunt Daniela's long-lost brother, who everyone thought was dead, living up there. He'd been sneaking around like a ghost for years."
My jaw dropped. "Are you serious?" I asked her
"100%," She said,continuing "Then, a swarm of bees from the attic window invades, Uncle Joey tries to catch them with a butterfly net, and Jasper the parrot escapes, dive-bombing people and shouting nonsense. We all end up outside, covered in bee stings and feathers."
"That's insane."I said laughing
"And after all that," Isabella finished, "Aunt Valeria just says, 'Well, that was fun. Same time next year?'"
I laughed "What did your parents say?"I asked her "We got in the car and they said pretend your sick next year."She said laughing
