Chapter 13

Giyu Tomioka POV

Upper rank 2...

Shinazugawa and I were both in ready position, daring  the demon to inch closer, it was pretty clear that this mission would be difficult- since we didn't know really how powerful they were. However, two hashiras...especially including the second strongest one should be enough..right? Shinazugawa was visibly tired of taking on the defensive side, this man-? He needs to think strategically, how is he the second-? Well I suppose his sword skills did beat mine..

   "WIND BREATHING, 1ST FORM, DUST WHIRLWIND CUTTER!" Sanem- Shinazugawa launched a perfect attack at Upper Rank 2, who easily dodged and simply blocked the attack, instead of fighting back- why? "Well, what a rough introduction! But, let's try again <3. My name's Douma! What about you two? The quite one especially, I like how you didn't annoy me yet!" Shinazugawa's eye twitched, indicating that he realised what Douma meant by that. "I'll never tell you my name, nor Sh- um his either." 

   "Aw :(, could you at least tell me what hashiras you are-?" I glared at him, I'm tired of talking. Time to fight. "You'll find out for yourself, WATER BREATHING, EIGHTH FORM, WATERFALL BASIN." I swiftly launched a smooth attack which cut off his arm, which resulted in a vein popping up on his forehead. I landed silently next to a massive oak tree. "Oh. Nevermind, thought I liked you for a minute." The smile never left his face, reminded me of Shinobu- true feelings were always hidden. Who knew what this demon felt as a human? How his life was like? However, there's no point worrying about that now- what's done is done.

Shinazugawa Sanemi POV

Stupid Tomioka managed to land a hit, I may 'like' him- but that doesn't stop me from being better than him. Gosh, this demon pissed me off so bad! We both launched several attacks- only being capable of cutting off his arm, leg, I had fun cutting out his eye though- that regenerated unfortunately.

   "Gosh, I could do this forever- hm..do you guys care about each other?" The demon stopped attacking, only defending himself when me and Tomioka attacked. He glanced at me, before quickly looking away when I noticed. "N-" "Yes. We are friends." Tomioka looked at me in shock. To be honest, I also looked at myself in shock. What the hell? Did I just say, Giyu Tomioka, the stupid loner, the water hashira, the emo freak, was my friend? My brain was having these thoughts, while my heart was like 'ONE STEP CLOSER TO DATING HIM MF YEEEEEEEES!' Of course I managed to shut that up, um, thankfully. 

    Tomioka looked at me in shock, and again looked away- but it was clear to see a smile spread across his face. When I looked at it, it felt so warm- I mean I didn't even see his whole face..but something about it just felt..amazing? Between these 3 seconds, Douma was observing everything. Who somehow managed to figure out I like emo boy, "Ohhhh~ I see I see, well in that case let's have some drama!!" This immediately alarmed me, drama?  Demon? Not good. But I didn't worry too much until, he froze Tomioka's body in ice. "TOMIOKA-?!"

Douma POV

To be honest, it was really clear to see these two were dating. Like for real, just look at them. Looking at each other..blushing- and stuff. Cute and all, but not really my type I guess. However, some fun wouldn't hurt right? Since the white man pissed me off so much, I decided to make him feel the sorrow, and oh BOY did it feel good to see his pathetic little cute face! His look of worry, for his boyfriend!  Aha, still pathetic though. I kept my smile, which was only getting wider as the black-haired male stay there, in an ready position- with shocked eyes. Kinda funny to look at, 'Oh, I just realised i'm about to freeze' kinda face. I chuckled under my breath at that unfunny joke and turned my attention back to scar face. "So...what now?"

    He looked at me in pure rage.

Well that confirms it, they are dating- or are they just good friends. I'm sooo confused. But I like the idea of dating better tbh. He looked at me, and faster than the speed of light- aimed for my neck. That did startle me indeed, I managed to block it- but he really had made a half cut through my neck. "Wow! Gosh you've improved! Supposedly I should upgrade my defenses!!" A mark appeared on his cheek- faint at first but kept on getting more and more darker.  And the darker it became, the faster he became.

   I couldn't describe how nervous I was becoming- upper moon 2, 1v1 with hashira rank 2. Wow, I like the number 2! Well anywaysss, he gave me his little death stare again, and tried to attack from behind blah blah, and I let out my little ones, who were just as powerful as me!! They attacked wonderfully. However something odd- happened..to the water boy. I was struggling enough with this angry little one- don't tell me the other guy's gonna join. Awww :(((
