A.N: Finally, here is chapter 4. When you see these markings (****) that means the chapter's setting has changed. Leave me reviews letting me know what you think of it and feel free to give me tips on what you think i could improve on. Enjoy :)

"Where in all this crazy world is that chunky, fire-breathing, ice-making, electric sparking, boulder-blasting, shadow-spewing, purple brother of mine!"

"Oh would you please stop your incessant ranting Sparx." Replied Hunter as he turned to face the dragonfly.

"You're giving me a rather excruciating headache."

When Hunter had agreed to take Sparx with him on his quest to find the 3 dragons, he had hoped that the dragonfly would prove useful for aerial surveillance. Unfortunately, he had proven to be anything but useful. The cheetah had scoured the land all day and still hadn't found a single clue as to where the 3 dragons might be. He searched the forest, rivers, and plains but found nothing to indicate where they might have disappeared to. As he searched Sparx merely hovered nearby talking non-stop.

"Hey, you're the tracker here not me. I can't do none of that fancy stuff, and I'm not complaining! I am simply saying my thoughts and feelings out loud," Sparx retorted.

"Whatever the case may be, we're not going to find them for awhile. The sun is setting."

"Great, cause it's not like I'm in a big hurry or anything. Please, by all means take your time," Sparx sarcastically replied.

Hunter wasn't offended by Sparx thoughtless words. He had felt the same concern as the dragonfly when his good friend Meadow went missing after an attack on their village. It was Spyro and Cynder who found him and helped him back to the village. Since then he had felt indebted to them. He saw this mission as a way of returning the favor. He wanted to find them as badly as Sparx did.

"I know you are anxious to find your brother Sparx but you must have patience. We will find him, as well as Cynder and Ignitus. Now help me find some kindling so I can build us a fire."

"I'm sorry Hunter; I'm just worried about Spyro. The big guy and I have never been apart before so it's hard on me. I'll try to be less impatient. I mean after all you found them once before right. So I guess it won't take long for you to find them this time." said Sparx solemnly.

"I shall do my best to find them soon. Now help me look please" replied Hunter as he started looking for things to burn.

"All right, all right I'm going."

They had been looking for about eight minutes when Sparx announced that he found a dead tree sapling. Striding up to the tree the Hunter grabbed a slender branch and bent it. With a loud snap it broke clean off.

"This will do nicely. Well done Sparx." said Hunter.

Then taking a hand ax from his satchel the cheetah began chopping off branches. Once he had enough cut he gathered them up and brought them to a small clearing in the woods. There he arranged and lit the branches and few logs. As the flames grew higher, the cheetah laid down on the ground. Using his cloak for a pillow to rest his head upon, the tracker closed his eyes. Sparx soon flew over to him and lay down on a small boulder nearby.

"Well goodnight then, oh mighty tracker"

"Goodnight Sparx, we head out again at first light." replied Hunter as he allowed reality to fade away.

Cynder opened her eyes to find that she was no longer in the valley that she had fallen asleep in. Gazing around at her surroundings she gathered that she must be in a temple of some sort. The walls around her were stark white. Though with the light coming from the blue crystals that were fixated at regular intervals along them, they took on a blue tint. Making that stone almost look like it was glowing. In front of her stretched a long corridor leading away from the room she was in. When she looked to the left of her she saw Spyro lying beside her; his eyes stilled closed. Using her left wing she gave him a little nudge. Feeling this Spyro slowly opened his eyes. When he realized where he was at he was quite befuddled. Standing up he scanned the room with his eyes. As he looked to his right he noticed Cynder lying next to him. Her eyes full of confusion as she looked longingly at him. As though she was hoping he could give her some explanation as to what was going on.
