Memory loss: carolines POV

When I hear the knock on the door I know it's time to go. As much as I love klaus I can't bring him down. I'm just a small town girl and he's THE original hybrid. He could do much better.

I get up and leave without a second glance. I huge Elena and Stefan but ignore daemon. We get in a car and pretty soon we are almost back to Mystic Falls.

As soon as I'm dropped off back at my empty house house I rush into my room. However I don't make it there. There standing at the entrance to my room is a handsome dark skinned guy with caramel eyes and a nice smile.

"Who are you"? I gasp. "Hello Caroline I'm Marcel". That's the last thing I remember before I black out.

I wake chained to a wall. My daylight ring is gone. Vervain is splashed all over me. I'm weak and I need blood.

Suddenly a door opens and a light turns on. It's that guy. Marcel. "What do you want with me?" I ask. "Your familiar with klaus I assume. Well you see Caroline, Klaus cares about you very much. By hurting you I hurt him. You seem to be his only weakness don't take it personally". He leaves without another word and sends in two other vampires too do his dirty work.

Over the past three months. At least I think it's been 3 months. It's hard to keep track of time. I've been tortured in every way possible. Staked only millimeters away from the heart, vervained, slashed with a knife all over my body, shot with wooden bullets and of course getting my daily intake of punches and kicks.

Throughout this whole time I haven't gotten a drop of blood. I'm not healing anymore. I bet I look like a mess.

As I wake from my slumber I see the two lackeys that Marcel hired to torture me. Cody and Ted. Cody is tall and intimidating with huge muscles while Ted on the other hand is short and scrawny. Ted is the one that seems to relish in my torture.

However today something is off. Marcel comes in along with a middle aged woman. I think she's a witch.

"Hello Caroline dear. You don't look too well. Not to worry today we will be trying something different. If it works you are free to go. Before I do this though I want you to talk to someone." He pulls out his phone and dials a number.

"Klaus." I scream relieved. Maybe he can find me. Maybe he can save me. "Caroline where are you I've been looking for you for months. Who's phone is this. Who's with you now?"

O my Gawsh I think to myself. I've been gone and for months. I knew I've been here for a long time but not that long.

Marcel rips the phone away from me and silences me with a look. He hands the phone to Ted. "Klaus. I see your worried about Caroline. Don't worry we'll set her free. After all she's been tortured non stop for three months it's the least we could do. After we take her memories."

Klaus explodes into the phone. "Who do you work for? Where are you? I will find you. I will kill you". He threatens. With that Ted hangs up.

"Now now let's get started". Marcel says with a smirk. "Why are you doing this? Torture me all you want please just don't take my memories. There all I've got." Tears are streaming down my face as I say this.

"I can't let you go unless you forget all about me. Otherwise you'll tell Klaus that I'm the one that took you and I'll end up dead. I also want to remove your memories of Klaus to hurt him. You see the more emotional he is , the easier it will be for me to dagger him. Not to worry you'll have all your memories except for what's happened the past three months, you'll also forget about Niklaus Mikaelson completely."

I hear a with chanting and then suddenly I black out.

I wake up in the middle of the forest with no memory. How did I end up here? I think to myself.
