The vampire diaries: Caroline and Klaus

Heartbroken: Klaus's POV

I knew leaving Caroline after telling her the news about Haley wasn't a good idea. It seemed that Caroline needed space though and I didn't want to hurt her more than she already was.

That stupid one nightstand. If I could take back anything I would take back that. It's gotten me into a huge mess.

After leaving Caroline I stay and watch her for 15 minutes. When it seems likes she's finally sleeping I sigh and head back home.

I plan to persuade Caroline to come with me to New Orleans in the afternoon. There's no way I'm leaving without her.

At around 12pm I decide I've given Caroline enough time. I decide to head over to her place.

When I knock and she doesn't answer I barge in. She's not here.

I call her but it goes to voicemail. I then send a text but after 10 minute of waiting and still no reply I decide to see if she's with her friends.

I visit Elena first and Elena says she hasn't seen Caroline since yesterday afternoon.

I'm getting suspicious. Something isn't right.

I then walk into Bonnie's place unannounced and demand her to tell me where Caroline is. She says she doesn't know and I can see the honesty behind her words.

Since Bonnie is a powerful witch I convince her to do a locating spell. Bonnie tries and it doesn't work. Caroline had a witch do some sort of spell to block other witches from tracking her.

There's only one witch she could of gotten to do this. Bonnie.

"Where is she?" I demand screaming at her. She looks terrified and I cant blame her. If she doesn't start talking I'm going to end her right now.

"She left town last night and made me put a spell on her so magic can't be used to track her. I don't know where she's going though. She wouldn't tell me." Bonnie says terrified.

I look at my watch and see its 3. Odds are she's far away by now and I don't have time for this. I have to get to New Orleans now. Once I get there I'll begin looking for her.

I vamp speed all the way to New Orleans. It takes me around three hours to get there.

As soon as I'm there I go straight to the mansion. As I'm walking through the door I'm greeted by Rebekah and Elijah.

Kohl is in some other country doing who knows what celebrating his second shot a life.

Elijah informs me of how Hayley is doing and I reluctantly listen.

When Elijah is done talking him and Rebekah ask me if Caroline is coming. I give them a death glare that says not in the mood and they don't say another word.

I run upstairs and put what little I packed in a small backpack in my room. I then head downstairs to the kitchen to get a bag of blood.

When I'm done I'm on my way upstairs when I see Rebekah and Elijah still in the living room talking in hushed tones. I'm going to have to tell them sooner or later I'll just tell them now I think angrily.

"I know you guys are probably wondering about Caroline. She left. I am going to start searching for her immediately." Then I head upstairs. "Nik" Rebekah whines, "when are you gonna stop chasing after a girl who doesn't want you?"

Before I know it I'm there in a flash pinning Rebekah against a wall. "She didn't mean it Niklaus calm down." Elijah says to me.

I say nothing and instead of heading upstairs I head out onto the streets of New Orleans.

I find a group of 10 vampires and compel them to find a girl named Caroline Forbes. I show them a picture of her that was on my iPhone.

I compel them not to come back unless she's found and to call me if they find her. I also warn/ compel them not to hurt a single strand on her head.

Feeling tired I head back into the mansion and straight to my room. It's 11 pm and I'm exhausted.

As I'm asleep I feel these strings in my mind. Like this mental connection. I pull on them and it seems as if I've pulled Caroline into a dreamscape.

I answer all her questions about how this is happening but she doesn't answer mine about where she is. No other person has infuriated me this much.

As she's about to leave the dreamscape I shout out "I will find you" and then she's gone.

I wake up with a start. I try again and again to dreamscape her but it doesn't work.

Feeling frustrated I decide to get some real sleep.

I have a long day ahead of me tomorrow. Dealing with Hayley and Marcel.

If those vampires don't find Caroline somehow after I'm done with this New Orleans mess, I'm going to find her.

I won't stop looking for her. Not until she's mine.

With that last thought I go to sleep.
