"Have a wonderful day" Nova wave to the leaving customers with her usual smile. She arrived about 20 minutes ago and business was steady as usual. The bakery was severely understaff.
The only people who work there was Nova and Grandma Misa. But with Nova out-worldly nature she made up for the lack of staff. She didn't mind all the work though. It was like a challenge that she was totally up for. Plus she got to work with Grandma Misa and got paid.
Nova left from behind the counter and start cleaning up before the next wave of customers. She hums a soft melody of a song she heard somewhere. It was such a peaceful atmosphere in the bakery. That didn't last long though.
The bell on the door rung signaling she needed to be back behind the counter. She quickly rush to the back to wash her hands. It took about three minutes before she was at the counter.
The customer was a tall man with silky brown hair and green eyes. He was fairly handsome but to Nova he was about average.
"About Dam- Hello" his scowl quickly turns into a flirty smile. He whole posture seem to change. It went from hostile to friendly once he got a good look at her.
"I'm sorry for the wait sir. What can I get for you on this fine day?" Nova sent the man one of her bright smiles. The man may have gotten the wrong idea with her NORMAL question.
"How about a date tonight? The name's Makoto Mori" he lean onto the counter looking rather confident.
"Today's special is raspberry chocolate cream puff. I would high recommend them since they come once a month" she completely ignore his advances while keeping her smile.
"Aww I see you're playing hard to get. Don't worry I like a challenge"
"I am not playing hard to get because I will never be yours to get. Now sir if aren't going to order anything please leave" Nova didn't even bat an eye at the man. The man still didn't seem to take the obvious hint that she wasn't interested.
