A group have gathered at one of the castle courtyard outside the Castle. A magical circle hovered mid air, serving as underwater screens as it displayed an ongoing battle. Fajar have seen the skeleton of a blue whale, one of the biggest sea mammal still alive on Earth, but the monster in the screen was three times bigger. Its ivory horn protruded from its head. There were at least ten of these gigantic creatures. The Kingdom's army were trying to stop them from reaching civilians. The armies shots red bolts from their tridents towards the incoming monsters, but it bounced off the monster's thick skin. Direct attack of the tridents to the whale skins did not see any success either. The army attempts of slowing down the enemies seemed to be futile, the creatures only growled in annoyance. A crimson beam charged at the tip of horn and a blazing fire swept the entire armies. A dozen troops just disintegrated in their place, leaving dust particles swirling.

"Leviathans" whispered Merlee, her face in shock.

Fajar recognized the name. Livyatan, was its scientific name in marine biology. It was a prehistoric whale that lived long ago, which was guessed to be a water apex predator of its time. It also has branched into many mythology and folk tales across different cultures. Seeing one in front of him was another scientific discovery and Fajar thought he should write a publication paper about it, but in the light of a possible incoming doom, Fajar thought it could wait.

The Kingdom armies tried a more conventional way to stop it. They conjured some sort of algae that mustve been very strong and elastic, as they tried to wrap the Leviathans and pull it with weights. These Leviathans opened their maws, and from it came hundreds of creatures Fajar was still having nightmares after seeing it for the first time. The star-shaped octopus swarmed the armies like moths to a flame. The gigantic whales acted as carriers for Samosir minions to arrive safely to the battle field. Based on the footage, Fajar could see the octopus monsters easily outnumbered the Kingdom troops.

Right in front of the screen were King Regulus, Ashtra and Groth. They were fully dressed in their battle gears. Their expressions looked worn and tired from disturbed sleep, but their eyes shown a battle ready determination.

"Reports on the attack, lieutenant" Groth commanded.

"Sir, its a surprise attack from the enemy. Our sentries in the frontline couldn't detect them even with scrying magic, thankfully, our hex circle around the Kingdom's outer well displaced it" Ashtra reported firmly.

"This is grimm my lord, Leviathan is an ancient war machine even before our days. They should've been extinct along with the ancients gods" Groth discussed.

"They appear to also know which sections that we're low on security, and destroyed our canons, even the hidden ones" Astrha , "Its as if they know our security routes, blueprints"

"You're suspecting a mole?" Groth cut Ashtra, his black beady eyes lingered to Fajar as he said this.

Ashtra seemed to second guess his suggestion, but nodded anyway.

"My King?" Groth asked for opinion.

"Thank you Groth and lieutenant Ashtra for the observation. Its very alarming that we might have a mole in our circle, but we'll need to put aside that for now. Our main priorities are to protect and evacuate our people to safety, and stop these monsters before they could do more damage" King Regulus.

Groth nodded, "The skins seems to be impenetrable, but I've noticed an opening in the mouth, if we could hold them long enough, i believe it could defeated, and as for the armies, i think our canons could wipe them easily"
