Sehun's P.O.V.

After having our meal today, the three of us exited the restaurant. I was about to bid them both goodbyes but I was interrupted when Joonmyeon's phone rang. "Oh, wait. I have to take this call." He said, and I nodded my head. Joonmyeon distanced himself from before answering the phone call.

There was a split second of silence between Park and I. "Uhm, Dr. Oh.." She called and I turned to face her. "Hm?"

"Sorry for being stubborn before. I didn't mean to be impolite." She plainly said.

"That's alright." I paused. "Anyways, how's your TBI?"

"I'm getting better." She smiled.

"Still, go visit the hospital at least once a week for scanning or some therapy to see if you're really getting a lot better." I told her, and she nodded her head. After we had that short conversation, we saw Joonmyeon jogged towards us.

"Uhm guys, I have to go back to the hospital. Emergency happened." He sighed. "Anyways, Sehun, go take Aira somewhere else, 'kay? I better leave. Sorry guys." He said quickly, as immediately got inside his car and leave within a second or two.

"Well, he left." Park said. "Now what?"

"I should take you back to school." I said, eyeing her up and down. She's still wearing her uniform. "Looks like you just ditched your classes."

"Huh? What? Nope. I don't want to go back. I ditched my classes for a reason, you know?" She said, pouting.

I hissed. "Fine. Just get in the car." I said. She climbed inside the car and so did I. We fastened our own seatbelts and I started the car's engine. Park Aira told me her address and I began driving.

"It's only two or three blocks away from here, I think." She said.

There were again moments of silence between us throughout the ride until I remember something. "I found something at the rooftop before. It's yours."

"Found something?" She asked, and I nodded. "It's on the backseat." I said plainly.

I saw her unfastened her seatbelt and went to the backseat to get that something I was talking about.

"Where? Is it really here?" She asked again.

"Yes. Go look for it."

I glanced at her in the rearview mirror and said, "That old voice recorder beside you. It's yours, right?" I asked in a nonchalant voice. I saw her picked up the voice recorder and took a closer look.

"Why do you have this?" She asked as she moved again towards the passenger's seat.

"I found it at the rooftop after you run away, sobbing real hard."

"Ohhhh.. so, did you listen to this?" She asked, gripping the recorder tightly as she lowered her head.

"Yes. Out of curiousity." I answered shallowly.

"So, what do you think after listening to it?" She asked, trying to keep a straight face.

"'That you are both miserable.' That's what I thought." I said, keeping my eyes on the road. I didn't hear her respond or whatsoever. At the corner of my eyes, I saw her eyes glued to that old voice recorder so I began speaking again. "My mom used to tell me once.." She shifted her attention to me again. "'If that person left, it means he/she can't save you from your misery, but don't lose hope... Because soon enough, someone will come and save you out of it'."

"Your mom told you that?" She asked, and I just nodded. "So, have you found that someone?"

I glanced at her for a second and saw her eyes were glued at me. "Nope. I even don't know what that statement means."

"Then, why are you telling me that, if you don't know what it means?"

"Because it looks like you're miserable, then he left, 'cause he knew he couldn't save you out of your misery." He said in a monotonous tone.

"Maybe, you're right..." She whispered to herself but I still managed to hear it.

---------------------

"Thanks for everything, Dr. Oh." She smiled at me after she got down from the car and shut the door close. I was about to start driving again when she tapped the glass window on the passenger's side. I opened the window. "Thank you for what you said earlier, Dr. Oh. I'll keep that in mind." She smiled brightly again. "Take care."

"Thanks. You too." I said then she waved at me as a goodbye. I waved back as well before I started driving.

After I drove her to their house, I decided to go home. I think it's been a tiring day. Once I reached the house and entered the living room, I heard someone.

"Hey, you're home already?"

I just sat down on the couch and loosen my neck tie. I heard that person's footstep coming closer to my direction.

"What are you doing here?" I asked as I laid down on the couch.

"Is it bad to visit my brother?" He said when he reached the living room. I felt him sat on couch as well. Kim fucking Jongin.

"You never visited me until now, asshole." I told him as I sat up.

"Be grateful, brotha." Jongin smirked as he hand me a can of beer. It took me seconds before I took it out of his hands. I sighed as I opened the canned beer. "So, how are you? Still enjoying the demon life?" He asked.

"What do you think?" I asked him in a monotonous tone as I drink up my beer.

"Looks like you're pretty lonely being alone." Jongin said, then drink his beer. "You know being a human isn't a bad thing. You'll get to experience things you weren't able to experience as a demon."

"Like what?"

"Being a human feels free. It feels like you no longer have this limitations, unlike being a demon. And when you're a human, it feels like you're harmless... that you're actually one of them now." Jongin explained as he looked at me. "It feels great, Sehun. Maybe all you need is to be human right now. Aren't you tired of being alone every single day?"

"I'm already used to being alone, Jongin." I told him. "And you know, I still don't get it. I still don't get the idea of being a human. I don't find it amusing."

"You might not find it amusing today, but you will. You'll understand when you already find that someone. That someone who mom used to tell us. That someone who can save you out of your misery." Jongin said, smiling.
