I was having a sweet fix
Of a daydream of a boy
Who's reality I knew
Was a hopeless to be had

The lights were dimmed in the room but Faye could see clearly. She could see his eyes fixated on her half naked body. She could see his bare chest and his toned arms.

The music came through the door from the party outside but it was muffled enough for her to hear his breathing. It was heavy and so close to her ear that it sent shivers down her spine with every exhale.

She was drunk but she could still feel the soft skin on his chest as her hands moved from his neck to the belt hoops of his jeans. She grabbed them and pulled him closer to her, but he used that movement to walk them both backwards until the back of her knees hit the bed behind her. She fell down on it. Not long after, his lips were back on her neck. It was sure to leave a mark, but that was what made it so hot.

They were the only ones who were supposed to know.

It was wrong, it was forbidden. She knew that they should stop but she didn't want to, and that made her catch on fire inside. Doing the bad thing. They had locked the bedroom door, but someone could interrupt them any minute. Someone could've seen them coming in here together. It didn't matter in the moment. It actually made it hotter.

His lips moved further down her torso and suddenly her pants were coming down her legs, her underwear following. She couldn't take it anymore, she was about to explode unless he touched her right now. And then his lips slowly started placing a few soft kisses on the inside of her thighs. She closed her eyes and waited with desperation. Her chest moving up and down with every inhale and exhale and her back arching off the mattress with anticipation. As he got closer she looked down to see his face. His hot breath on her burning flesh and his dark eyes, staring right back into hers...

"Alex..." she whispered.

But then again, you rarely ever get to stay in a dream long enough to get to the part you wanted.

And Faye woke up from this one in a panic. This wasn't the Thursday morning she was expecting. Having a dream like that on a school night made her morning all the more confusing. Not to mention that it was the second time this had happened this week.

She sat up in her bed and breathed heavily as she took in her surroundings.

She shook her spinning head and put her feet on the cold floor. She checked the time and realized that she had half an hour until she was supposed to leave for school. Today was the first time she was having class with Alex since their adventure the weekend before.

Needless to say she'd been avoiding him since that dream she had the night after they got home. Without any classes together it had been easy but this morning she was starting to worry.

Faye rushed to the bathroom and turned the water on. She needed a cold shower if anything. She stepped under the cool water and subconsciously scrubbed herself hard as if it would clean the inappropriate thoughts off her. Then she turned the water back to hot and cleaned her hair quickly. When she got out and wiped the steam off of the mirror, she saw her reflection.

She looked at the suspicious wrinkle between her eyebrows that never seemed to really go away. It was there for a reason. She was suspicious of most things around her. The systems at place that controlled the natural order of power and popularity. She didn't trust people who fell into categories that could be described by one single adjective, and those people made up most of the world's population. The pretty girls, the hot boys, the rich, the poor, geeks, populars, evil, good, gross. Everyone was always one but never the other, and she didn't like it. It felt like a simulation.
