Once upon a time, an angel and a devil fell in love...

His ivory porcelain skin glistened perfectly in contrast to her dark ashy complexion. His hair was delicate gossamer threads spun from silver-blooded spiders. Her's raven black, dancing wickedly with fire at the ends as highlights. The sapphire orbs within his sockets shone out as beacons, promising safety and security. Whereas hers ignited and glinted in the darkness, teasingly, enticingly into a passionate mystery. He was dressed in a fine steel armor, to symbolize protection as well as elevated stature. She dressed in the polished leather of a defiant smirk. The soft, purity of his well-organized feathers were stretching toward the Heavens begging for peace. Her lacy dragon wings pultruded from her muscular blades, tattered due to years of battle, all the while still possessing deadly power. His features were those of chiseled marble bust. Her face flashed between Jekyll and Hyde, each one having a dominating set of reactions. Both shared a side to them that was based on integrity and childish wonder. Desire. Bliss. They could not be more different, yet it was each perfect imperfection that made their puzzle piece hearts, whole. The first time they laid eyes on each other the demon saw there was a rush to solid structure. And the angel got a glimpse that dangerous freedom can be calming. They were the Yin and Yang that the Heavens and the Underworld needed to bring them into balance.
