"I'm sorry. I'm having trouble understanding any of this." Said Jonathan once the agents had explained to y/n, Mike, Will and Jonathan. "I mean, what exactly is going on in Hawkins? What's doing these killings?"

"That's what we're trying to ascertain." Replied the female agent.

They explained how there have been two murders in Hawkins both of students from Hawkins high school. They had something to do with the Upside down.

It was all happening again.

It made y/n feel scared. Not for herself, but for all her friends back in Hawkins. They also explained how El was the only one who could stop it. But she didn't have her powers. She was apparently being trained to get them back.

"So where is El?" Y/n went onto ask.

"For her safety. It's best you don't know." Replied the agent.

"What do you think we're gonna do?" Y/n went to argue but her questioned got ignored as Jonathan went onto say.

"So this training to get El's powers back, how long is it gonna take?"

"Could take weeks, could take months." The agent said.

"Months?" Will gasped.

"Until then, agents Harmon and Wallace will stay with you." She gestured to the male agents behind her.

"We're not in danger." Mike said.

"Our friends live in Hawkins." Will added.

"My family lives in Hawkins." Mike said fiercely.

"I'll work to contain the situation until Eleven is ready." The agent said sternly. "In the meantime, it is of vital importance you do not speak to anyone about this."

Mike scoffed. "No. No way."

"I know this is difficult to understand. There are factions within our government who are working directly against Eleven, who are in fact, searching for her as we speak. We can't risk contact. If they learned about any of this, it will jeopardise Eleven. And if Eleven is jeopardised, so are your friends." She said then looked at Mike. "And so is your family."

"So, what? We're just supposed to trust that you're the good guys?" Mike scoffed. "Whoever you are."

"We're friends of Owens." The agent explained. "Eleven trusted us. Now we're asking the same from you."

Agents Harmon and Wallace did absolutely nothing. They just sat on the couch and watched TV and ate all the food in the house.

Ever since one of the agents said to y/n. "Hey, girl,
do you mind making us something to eat?"

Y/n rolled her eyes and walked off and slammed the door to her bedroom. She didn't see them asking any of the boys to make them meals.

She spent most of the time in her bedroom. Between the agents thinking she was their personal slave and her fight with Mike she didn't want to be around anyone really.
