Camp Half-Blood was a strange sight to behold during nighttime when you're used to being around it during daytime where there isn't a place anywhere where you could find some peace and quiet and alone time. Even in the bathrooms there's the sound of running water. Plus, chatters and the sound of metal against metal just penetrate the walls. There was nowhere you could go, nowhere you could hide, without the fear of being found out by absolutely anyone. Even the Stoll brothers were having a hard time to find a safe place to plan their pranks and store the ones they were going to use for the future. There was always someone else where you were planning to go to.
The whole place was a complete flurry of activities by daytime, but by nighttime...it was the complete opposite.
The woman in the dark gown strode over the sandy beach as she surveyed the whole expanse of land from the woods to the cabins towards Thalia's pine tree. Nothing was moving, no one was stirring and everything was peaceful and quiet...too quiet.
The woman was a sight to behold. Needless to say, she was beautiful. But her beauty was almost shadowed by something else, something much more sinister and a dark need. She was wearing a floor-length dress that almost swirled around her in the darkness as she walked. Her feet were bare but she acted like nothing hurt her at all. The cold nighttime wind breezed past her, ruffling her dress as if in an attempt to make her feel the cold. She just let it ruffle through her.
Nothing makes a stone, cold, after all. She cooed silently in a silky voice that anyone would have mistaken for a breeze.
She glanced around again, deep, black eyes wandering around her surroundings hungrily. It's been a long while since she had been up on the surface. Quiet a while since she had a chance to take her revenge and get what she rightfully should have. Her domain...and now, she'd get something more, something better.
She continued walking towards nowhere. She glanced towards the cabins that were silenced with sleep and glanced towards the woods where she came from.
She waited. And it was still too quiet.
With a slight bit disappointed, she walked back towards the woods. She preferred breaking in slowly, but then she'd have to wait until morning. She couldn't do that. She was a busy woman after all.
Then she disappeared. Nothing left any trace of her short visit apart from a single sentence that flitted through the breeze.
