Coz you guys are so awesome, I've decided on something. And that something is... Oooohh! Wait! Who're those people???
___ENJOY!___
Due to the busy bustling around King's Cross Station, barely anyone noticed the siblings who wove through the crowd with a packed trolley and strange parcels on it. They were a strange sight. Two supposed-to-be siblings walking side-by-side through the platforms until they reached the boundary between Platforms 9 and 10.
The two seemed to be catching their breaths when they suddenly bounded towards the brick wall barrier between the two Platforms and then they just...disappeared.
The few people who were watching them blinked. They seemed as if they just vanished through thin air.
But the two, in fact, did not vanish into thin air. Instead, they arrived at someplace else. Instead of the multiple platforms at the station, the two were now standing on one platform beneath the sign that said, Hogwarts Express. Around them, families hurried about, herding their children and their ridiculously loaded trolleys through the crowd that was forming around the scarlet steam engine in front of them. The air was filled with sounds of chatter, yells and animal sounds. In a way, it was chaos. But the younger of the two siblings who just arrived laughed.
"Hm, I miss this place." She said aloud to her older brother who had a hand at her shoulder and was now looking at her incredulously at her comment.
She and her elder brother had quite a big gap to fill. The younger girl had just recently turned fifteen in the summer while the elder brother was already in his early twenties. They had quite a lot of differences, despite being siblings.
The girl was a petite little thing, but she was tall, almost reaching the height of her brother. In her baggy clothes, no one would have suspected her to look athletic, but she was. The activities she and her brother had during their outings made sure of that. Her skin was of an ivory complexion and long, black locks fell down her shoulders. Starling sapphire-blue eyes stared out through her dark lashes as she surveyed the crowd for familiar faces.
The boy - er, man, just shook his head at his sister. "We haven't been here for only two months." He argued. "You're getting sentimental, Juliette."
She pouted at her lanky older brother as he ran a hand through his brownish hair. "Shut up, Alabaster. Just because I don't have a lot of sentimental things or show anything any sentimental value doesn't mean I can't be sentimental." She snapped. "Deal with it."
He held up his hands in mock surrender. "Fine, fine." He muttered as he followed Juliette through the crowd. "But we all know it's because of your ancestral line."
Juliette's smile melted into a frown. "I don't want to talk about her." She muttered. "She's not my mother, never will be."
"You know denying it will just make it harder." Alabaster said quietly. "Just because she bore you, doesn't mean she's your biological mother."
"Just because she made me, doesn't make her my biological mother either." She shot back before sighing. "Listen, Al, I don't want to fight in here of all places. I'm finally going back somewhere I can feel normal. Let's talk about this some other time." The girl wheeled her trunk into the train. "I'll be right back, just got to lug this thing in an empty compartment."
He nodded.
Juliette didn't take long. It was easy to find an empty compartment while most of the students were still hanging outside the train and talking to their parents. She left her pet kitten on her spot before going back to her brother.
Alabaster was casually leaning against the engine, hands crossed over his chest as he did so. He was scanning the crowd as if looking for something. Juliette shook her head. It was natural for her brother to be paranoid, but that didn't mean she liked it. He was right to, though. Demigods could never be too careful. Who knows, that hobo in the alley could be a monster for all they know.
