Melody was really happy about me joining the drama club and just for that, we celebrated together at Cafe Euphoria. I know it was nothing to celebrate, and I said so to Melody, but she said we were weird and we had to love it.

Chris was even happier. We had started working on the play together and it wasn't quite as dramatic as what we started out with. Mr. Callahan suggested that we read a few books about Arab women to get a better idea of it, and so we did.

After we finished the script, we decided to hold auditions. Christopher said that we should prefer Eastern people since they looked the part but not many Eastern people were willing to try out. So they had to go with whoever was the best actor.

Christopher and I were really surprised when Tristan Cyrus showed up at the auditions. Not that I had a problem with Tristan trying out, I just didn't want to spend time with him. The guy had some serious issues. He hardly ever talked to anyone.

So when Tristan read Billy Gray's lines, I hoped against hope that he would suck and I wouldn't have to spend any time in his company.

Luck wasn't on my side, though, because Christopher wanted no one other than Tristan to play that role.

"He's just too good, Angel," he said as a matter of factly.

"He's an arrogant brat!"

"The play don't care and neither should you." He wouldn't hear another word after that. And later when we announced the caste, I could feel Tristan smirking knowingly behind her back.

I just had to avoid him.
