Chapter 9

It was already nighttime. Everyone is in their beds sleeping but not Y/N. She was still wide awake laying in her bed thinking about the events that happened back in Aurora. She holds her arm up and examines the injection wound on her arm. It starts to turn into a very dark purple colour. 'He got a bit of my powers didn't he?' she thinks to herself. She sighs and gets up from her bed. She takes a coat and wears it before silently moving to the deck. Y/N sits down on the wooden floor at the edge of the ship looking up at the beautiful sky. The female Captain was in her thoughts, she didn't notice a figure coming up to her.

„What are you doing here, still up?" the male asks the girl sitting down beside her. „Couldn't sleep," she answers shortly, side-eying the male's movements. „You know, I wanted to apologize for hugging you out of nowhere. I was just happy that we've found you. I've missed you so much and acted without thinking" the boy explains. „It's okay Wooyoung. I'm sorry for getting so worked up" Y/N replies. „No don't be sorry. You had the right to be angry after what we did to you. I don't even know what came to my mind to distance myself from you. You were my childhood best friend, I should have been there for you the most but still acted that way." Wooyoung looks down.

„Why aren't you asleep?" Y/N know asks the boy. „Ah, I just have days where I can't fall asleep" Woo tells. „How is it going with San?" he asks out of nowhere and the girl is fast at snapping her head towards him „What do you mean?" she replies. With a playful mischievous smile, he says „You know exactly what I mean. I can see how you act and look at him when he is near you."

„Heeeeeeh! You're out of your mind. Nothing is going on." she denies his statement hesitantly. „Och come on. I'm your childhood best friend I can read you like a book. I can see you still have a crush on him" he comes near the girl smirking. Y/N blushes and pushes him slightly by his shoulder „Oh shut up" she says. „ Not until you admit your feelings towards him." he threats the girl. „Okey, I might still have a little crush on him okay? You happy now?" she answers. „Heh I knew it" he smiles and pokes Y/Ns side. „Okey you knew it. Just shut your mouth. Nothing is going to change. It will just be a little crush nothing more." the girl explains. „BuT WhYYYYY?! I think you should tell him" Wooyoung whisper yells. „A big noooo. This will stay between us. I swear if you tell anyone, I will stab you with my bare hands and give you to the sharks" Y/N now threats him by looking deep into his eyes. Wooyoung shrinks down in his place „Okey I won't" he answers shortly. Little did they know someone was listening to the whole conversation.

Y/N slowly wakes up only to realize that she was in her bed. But what was more confusing is that someone was hugging her. She slowly turns around not to wake the person up. The girl just stares at the sleeping face, shocked at who she sees. It was San sleeping peacefully with his arms around Y/N's waist. By now her heart was near to exploding. ‚How did he get here? How did I get here?' she thought ‚Wasn't I at the deck with Wooyoung? How the hell did I get in bed WITH SAN BESIDES ME?!'

„You know staring is not nice" Y/N hears his voice, snapping out of her thoughts she sees San wide awake watching her and she just wants to sink into a deep hole. „I-I...I wasn't staring" she tries to explain. „Yeah sure. You were just daydreaming looking at my face for like 5 minutes" San laughs. „No, I wasn't. It was your imagination" Y/N counters turning around, pushing Sans's arm off of her and standing up not facing San. „How did I end up here anyways? As I remember I was outside with Wooyoung" the girl asks confused. „Oh, you fell asleep on Wooyoung while he was talking. I used to be up that time and he asked me to carry you to bed. I asked him why me and not him and he said he was tired and you were heavy for him" San shrugged. Y/N clenches her jaw getting unnoticed by San ‚This little shit' she thought. „And how on earth you ended up here?" she asks with frustration in her voice. „You wouldn't let go of me and begged me to stay with you" San answers smiling like an idiot. „No I didn't" she snaps. „Yes you did"
