Chapter 11

Y/N lays in bed, looking at the ceiling as so many thoughts keep running in her head. Suddenly, a small light comes from besides her. Confused, she turns her head to the source of light, slowly getting up and reaching for the object on the nightstand. It was her necklace that gave out a beautiful rosegold light. The girl wonders why. Not in the mood for sleeping, she gets up, putting the necklace around her neck. Y/N walks out of her cabin towards the deck, leaning on the side of the ship, viewing the beautiful island.

Deep in thoughts, she doesn't notice a shadow behind the bushes that was watching the girl. Until some rustling could be heard. Y/N squints her eyes, being sure she just heard and saw something or someone. She also didn't notice Seonghwas presence coming towards her. As he reaches her, he whispers a 'Hi, what are you doing?' and touches her shoulder, startling the concentrated girl.

Y/N holds back her scream, turns around, and slap Seonghwa on his chest. "You idiot. You scared the shit out of me!" she whisper-yells and quickly turns back to look at the bushes. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to. But what are you doing?" Seonghwa asks again. "Pshhh, be quiet. I think there was someone behind the bushes," she answers. Now Seonghwa is alerted too and turns his gaze toward the forest. "What do you mean? How do you know?" he speaks. "I just hear the bushes rustling and swear there was someone standing."

"Maybe it was just the wind," Seonghwa says. "Maybe yes, but I still want to check it out for safety," the girl gets down the ship, already making her way toward the forest. Seonghwa surprised "Hey what are you doing? Are you crazy? You can't just go alone. Wait for me, " as he makes his way to his sister.

Y/N slows down and looks around for any danger. Hand rests on the dagger in her belt. Seonghwa behind, her doing the same. As they carefully make it further into the forest, the two siblings get surrounded by a group of people armed with weapons.

Seonghwa moves fast besides Y/N holding his dagger forward. "Who are you, and what do you want here?," the man, who must be the leader of the group, asks the two, shooting warning draggers and pointing his spear towards them. "We are not here to fight, but if you insist, we won't back down," Seonghwa explains. "Who knows if we can trust you pirates. Always making promises but don't keep them," another man talks behind the siblings. Seonghwa and Y/N quickly turn around alerted.

As Y/N looked at the man, she noticed something change in his face. "Master, look at her necklace," he points out. The mentioned girl, confused, looks down to her necklace glowing again, turning around to the named master who now has a shocked expression on his face. "Where did you get that necklace?" he asks. Seonghwa, who watches them confused, grabs to his chest to feel his necklace, getting it out from under his shirt. His necklace was glowing, too. Everyone looks at the siblings with wide eyes. "W-Who are you two. Aren't you pirates? From whom did you stole the necklaces?" another man of the group asks.

"I- We got them from our mother. Why? Is there something wrong with them, and why are they glowing?" Y/N answeres clearly confused.

The Master sighs and puts his spear down, motioning the others to do the same. Now, the siblings are more confused and look around for any answers. "Follow us, and we will explain some things to you. But know, if you plan on doing something wrong, I won't hesitate to kill you," Master speaks up.

Everyone makes their way until they get more into the forest. "Welcome to Elvwizest, The Magic Forest," the leader speaks up as they go through a liana wall. Seonghwa and Y/N look around being fascinated by the view. Floating platforms are connected to bridges or staircases. Massive trees where people live in. Everything is lit up beautifully. People live in harmony with nature. As the siblings walk through the roads of the magic village, the people give them strange looks. „Don't worry about the looks. Our people are not used to seeing any humans out of this forest. They kinda observe you two," the leader explains while the siblings nod, not understanding what he means by that.
