Sorry for late update! I got caught up reading this book called To All The Boys I've Loved Before and gosh the ending was such a cliffhanger :( and just when I thought that the sequel was out, I tried downloading it on epub and it turns out that it's not even out yet! :(

This chapter isn't that great thanks to writer's block :/ But I tried hehe

ANYWAYS, don't you just love ranting everything to your best friend and have that whole heart to heart session? Well, I do too.. wink wink

Both Cassie chuckled behind me. "Isn't it supposed to be 'dress to impress'? Oh Laney.."

Laney Bridgewood was the representative of our batch. She would post any news or information on our group page to keep us updated. She was only picked as the representative since nobody wanted to take the job.

"I don't think I'll go to this one." I said, closing my laptop.

Cassie frowned at me and crossed her arms. "Why not? You'll look hot in a bikini!"

I playfully rolled my eyes at her. "You're just saying that so that I would go.."

"C'mon I'm being serious! Is it because of Nate?" She asked.

As much as I wanted to deny that the reason I didn't want to go to the event or any event for that matter was seeing Nate, I couldn't. I knew that I shouldn't let him get to me and all but it was hard to not think of him especially after that stunt he pulled last night. He carried me -freaking bridal style to my bed and tucked me in.. Not to mention he kissed me before he left. It was just so confusing. At first he was being a jackass and then suddenly, he was the sweetest guy ever.

Cassie snapped her fingers in front of me and gave me a pointed look. "Hello? Earth to Sammy."

I blinked a few times before turning back to her. "Sorry, no it's not because of Nate.. It's just that.. I-It's the time of the month." I lied.

She cracked up laughing. "Oh hell no, you don't get to lie to me. Your period starts every end of the month like me."

"It started early this month." I was impressed that she remembered at the same time disgusted.

Sighing, she fished through her bag and held out a pack of tampons. I chuckled. "You carry that around with you?!"

"Well, you never know when you'll need one. Apparently, you do. So come on stick it up and let's go to that stupid water park." She threw me the pack which I obviously didn't catch. I was going to protest again but then she cut me off. "No. You are going to accompany me to the water park whether you like it or not because I'm your best friend."

"Is Alex going to be there?" I asked.

She narrowed her eyes and smirked at me. Oh no, I know that look. "Why do you ask?" She winked.

I rolled my eyes at her. "He's not only my best friend but you too. Of course I'd care."

Smiling, she popped a piece of Hershey's in her mouth. "Good point. He really reminds me of Riley."
