Living as a poor girl, in the village was horrible. It was so tough to get by. Always having to beg for scraps, and money. I had to sleep outside, because no-one was generous enough, to let me stay with them. You think my life was worse then, just wait until I tell you when Lycans showed up. Multiple Lycans rampaged into our village, killing everything, and anything in sight. I was taking up a job, on milking cows at the time it all went down. When I heard all the screaming, I honestly didn't know what to do.

That was until I heard growling. Coming from every direction around me. I went to go in the small barn to hide. I laid down in a corner, covering my self with hay. I never ever though that the lords would go crazy enough to kill us. Everyone knew that the lords of the village were messed up. It's just no-one did anything about it. That was because if you did, you'd end up dead. Now it was too late.

Listening to all the killing going on, was a scary experience. I felt like I was hiding for hours. When all the noises stopped, I was still wary to come out of my hiding spot. When I did come out, I made sure i was careful, to not cause any attention to my self. Walking to the middle of the village, there was was blood tracks everywhere. All the animals were dead, and so was the people. I went over to the church, to see if anyone made it.

Before I made it inside, I felt like someone was watching me. I turned around and right there she was. Standing in all her glory, Mother Miranda. At this point I was just even more freaked out. What if she was the one that wanted everyone dead, and send the Lycans after us. What if she tried to kill me now.

"How did you survive."

"Um, What?

I was not so sure what to say.

"Every one else is dead, so how are you still standing"

"I hid, when I heard screaming."

"Come to me, now."

I didn't trust Mother Miranda at all, but there's no way I could refuse her. I walked over to her, not taking my eyes away from her.

"You my child, are going to be my vessel for my daughter, Eva."

Mother Miranda grabbed on to my shoulder. Next thing I know I'm thrown on to a floor. Looking around me, It appears I was in some sort of laboratory. Mother Miranda was standing a few inches away from me, still as a statue staring at me. I picked myself of the ground, dusting myself off.

"I'm not going to kill you right away. First you're going to help me with my experiments."

Great. Now I have to help the person that wants me dead.

"Okay, what do you want me to do?"

"I need you to go through my files, and write down what's different about my test subjects,  that I've implanted the Cadou into."

I had no clue what Cadou is. But I had to do this work. Mother Miranda led me to her work table, and sat out all the files I needed.

"What's your name?"

"My name is Y/n."

She turned walking away from me, leaving me alone. I was about an hour into my work when I heard someone coming up from behind me.

"Are you soon done Y/n, I've gave you plenty of time."

"Yes, Mother Miranda, just a few more minutes."

Mother Miranda stood behind me, and watched me until I finished.

"Good work Y/n, maybe I'll keep you around longer to work for me."

I sighed, just accepting my fate. I couldn't tell what time of the day it was, because there was no windows. Looking at the walls, I see a clock. It was past midnight. I had no clue where I was suppose to go to sleep at.
