I left my estate, dragging myself through the heavy snow, making my way to Heisenberg's factory. I was the fifth lord of this village. Everyone respected me greatly. Imagine waking up on a mattress with a woman in front of you with no memory from before. That's what happened to me. But I never questioned it once Mother Miranda gave me a taste of power. She said if I served her, she would make me just like her. But, I became different. I became more powerful than she was. Once I was in contact with the Megamycete, everything changed. After just a few minutes, I was undergoing a significant mutation. Even Miranda was surprised. My body turned into multiple forms all at once. That did not affect my original appearance because, once I learned how to control my powers, I could use the mold to alter my appearance whenever I pleased. Miranda was very thrilled with how I turned out. Instead of using me as a vessel for Eva, she kept me, making me a lord. She also said I was a perfect vessel too. But she didn't want to lose such a perfect experiment. That's all I was to her. An experiment gone right. It didn't bother me at all. I was just glad to have power.

As I reached the abandoned village, I heard a painful screeching coming from the fields. Going closer to inspect the noises, I came upon an injured Vârcolac Alfa. These creatures were made by Moreau. He injected wolf's blood into the spine of a lycan. I might as well add that I helped him create some of them. Walking closer to it, I noticed a knife stuck in its abdomen. It doesn't move when I get closer to it. The monsters of the village never attacked me. Maybe they thought I was one of them. I inspect the depth of the knife inside the Vârcolac Alfa while leaning over it. It didn't look like it was too far in. Grabbing the knife, I yank it out and it lets out a roar getting up. Bitting my finger, I rub the blood on his open wound and watch as it closes back up.

"See, you're okay now."

I reach out my hand, petting its head.

"Good boy."

It pushes its nose into my hand and rubs its body against mine, marking its scent on me. These creatures were one of the few things I liked about living here. They were just misunderstood. A crow cawed, disrupting our moment, and the creature ran away. I stood back up and continued my way to Heisenberg's factory. He and I were a complicated mess. But I loved him just like the other lords. He let me help him work on his soldats, which were mutant humans with mechanical modifications. Reaching his factory doors, they remotely opened, revealing him standing there.

"Nice to see you back here, Y/n. It's been awhile since you visited."

I usually go to his factory every day, but Miranda has been needing me more and more this past week to help her with experiments.

"It hasn't been that long."

"You're one of the very few people I can stand here."

"Aw, ain't that sweet of you to say."

I went up to him and nudged his arm playfully.

"I'm working on a very special project for you. Would you like to help me work on it?"

"Sure. What is it?"

"That's just something you have to wait and find out for yourself. Now come on."

He grabbed my hand and dragged me to his workshop. After taking multiple turns and doors, we arrived. That's one thing about his factory. It was huge, with so many levels. Out of all the lords' houses, this was my favorite place to be. Heisenberg opened a door, signaling for me to come over.

"I know how much you like the beasts of the village. So I decided to make you your own made of metal that will be loyal to you and will follow your every command. "
