(A Strange Friendship) Karl Heisenberg

Being kept captive by Mother Miranda, was horrible. She does all these experiments on me, saying she can make me stronger. Tomorrow, she says shes going to infect me, with her Cadou. I never wanted to do this. If it wasn't for me being so stupid, I would never have fell for her trap. Before all this, I use to be a merchant, with the duke, buying and selling wares. Until Mother Miranda sniffed me out, and took me. The Duke always warned me, to never go off alone. But I was so stubborn, and never listened to him.

Laying on my tiny bed, in my small cell, I awaited the horrors to come tomorrow. Being woke up by Mother Miranda, loudly calling my name, I got up and went to her. She had all sorts of supplies, laying on the tables surrounding the chair I was going to be in.

"Y/n hurry up, and sit down, I don't have all day!" Mother Miranda's voice boomed, echoing through out her lab.

Quickly moving over to the chair, I sat down. As soon as I sat, she came over to me, and strapped my hands, and legs so I couldn't move. I watched as Mother Miranda grabbed the jar of Cadou. Saying I wasn't scared was an understatement. Because i was scared shitless. She also grabbed a knife, coming over to me, and cut into me. Without any warning what so ever. All that could be heard in probably a 10 mile radius, was me screaming bloody murder, as she implanted the Cadou into my body.

I must have passed out, because I woke up back in my cell. My whole body was sore. My hearing, and smell felt increased. I grabbed a piece of glass shard that was on the floor, and looked at my reflection. Holy shit. It worked. The Cadou worked! My eyes were the eyes of a lycan. I was just glad I became half lycan , instead of being crazily mutated, like The vampire lady, and that fish creature. While i was here for weeks, I snuck into the other lords personal files, and read about them. The only one I didn't care for was Karl Heisenberg. While being with the duke, I heard about there being lords, but I never personally met them.

I heard someone far away, coming to my cell. It had to be Mother Miranda. There was nobody else here except for me, and her. I walked out of my cell, and Mother Miranda's eyes went wide.

"No! It didn't work! Now you're just a freak like the other's. Now what am I going to do with you."

I was so confused on why she was talking like that. I thought this is what she wanted me to look like. Mother Miranda rushed over to me and grabbed my sleeve pulling me along.

"Another failed experiment, how wonderful."

Mother Miranda dragged me along, and brought me outside. I covered my eyes from the sun beaming down on me. It's been so long since I remember being outside. The sun hurt my eyes. As I adjusted them more, I could see way better. My eyes must have mutated too, because now i can see more clearly, and more far away. Looking back to where Miranda threw me out, she was long gone. I went over to the door, and tried to open it but to my luck, it was locked. Now what was I going to do.

Remembering where the lords were located, from all the studying I did, I decided I was going to go to Lord Heisenbergs home. Walking through out the village, I made my way to the ceremony site. Walking down the rocky path, I looked up, and saw an arch way, with a lycan on each side. As soon as they saw me, they both started to growl. I got a little scared, but maybe they wouldn't attack me, since I was like them.

They jumped down running up to me. I stood my ground, not moving at all. The one came up very closely, and started sniffing my body. I stared it down, showing that i was the boss. Then all a sudden ,they both ran off full speed towards Karl's factory. I continued my journey. Upon arriving I took a look around his factory. There was scraps, and metal scattered everywhere. I heard heavy foot steps coming my direction, from inside the factory.

Seeing Heisenberg walk out, makes me nervous. What if he didn't want me here?

"Hello,Hello. Who might you be?" Karl said approaching me.

"My name is Y/n."

"You're eyes.... What exactly are you."

"I'm half lycan. Mother Miranda put the Cadou inside me."

"Hmmm. I think you, and I will get along just fine. Come with me."

Following Heisenberg through his factory, he showed me around all levels, and told me which places to stay away from. I paid close attention, because I didn't want to die. I knew how dangerous it was to be here. Karl had way too many dangerous monsters, lurking in his factory. He showed me his workshop last.

"Now this is where I work. This is the most safest place here Y/n."

I looked around, there was tools laying everywhere. Karl pulled out a cigar smoking it.

"Am I allowed to stay here?"

"You can stay here as long as you like, just don't be a nuisance."

I went over to Karl, and gave him a hug.

"Now, now kid. No reason to get all cozy already."

I smiled up at him, thanking him. Karl sat down and began to work on another creation. I was watching him sit, and mold metal. Occasionally, I'd go over to him and touch him. He got mad, and told me to get away. I didn't listen. I knew he doesn't mind.

Over the past few months, me and Karl grew closer. I've never had a friend before. This was all very new to me. After some time of pestering Karl, he finally agreed to let me help him , with his work. I would bug him daily, and he'd always say to get away, or go. I guess he grew soft, over these past months.

Now he lets me help him with anything. If I'm not leaning on him, or touching his shoulders, he gets in a grumpy mood. Before he wouldn't care, where I was in his factory. But now he always tries to find me, if I'm not in his sight. I knew he cared for me. I'm glad i choose to come here. I know for sure I wasn't ever leaving here.

Not Mother Miranda, or anybody could take me away from Karl. Karl made me feel safe. Karl helped me. I told him that Miranda called me a failed experiment, and a freak. Karl told me I was not a freak at all, and said how awesome I looked with lycan eyes.

I don't regret at all wandering away on that day, away from the duke. If i never did , Mother Miranda wouldn't have taken me. Then I would never had learned about karl in the files, and went to his factory.

Going over to Karl, as he sat working on some metal piece. I went behind him giving his shoulders a massage. He turned towards me ruffling up my hair smiling at me. Every time he smiled at me, it had my heart melt.

"I love you Karl, you're the best friend anybody could ever have."

" I love you too kiddo."

I hugged my arms around him from behind, watching him work. Leaning my head into his neck, I thought about all the more wonderful days me and Karl are going to have.
