Canon Character Headcanon Profile for my version of the Human Outsider.

Some history on Michael and his people.

Michael Fórn Narrison was born on the continent called the Edgelands in the fifth decade of the Bronze Age. His father was a native of the land and his mother was a Tyvian woman who was captured and sold into slavery by one of the Edgeland tribes.

The Edgelands was a continent several miles off the coast of northern Tyvia. The Edgelander people were known for going on raids to the Isles and for warring amongst themselves. It was home to many tribes one of which was called the Merkt Fólk (marked people). They were known for having full arm, torso, and leg tattoos (based on the Borre Nordic design) that could help channel the world's natural magic. Should they choose to learn magic.

The magic they learned helped them control the power their gods have them. They could bend water to their will. Make flames appear on their palms. They could even turn people into trees via biting. Due to the tattoos having the ability to hone their powers the markings would often glow blue or have a blue tint to them. This is the tribe Michael was born into.

His father was a devotee of a trickster god in the Edgelander Pantheon

His father was a devotee of a trickster god in the Edgelander Pantheon. His name was Narri. The Merkt people also seemed to worship Narri for reasons Michael wouldn't understand till he was older.
His mother was an escaped slave who was brought into the Merkt tribe after helping them slay giants. She led the beasts towards the traps. Her name was Lillian.

Lillian's people worshipped animal totems. One such totem was the whale. She would teach her son and anyone who would listen about her beliefs. On the day Michael turned six when he received his tattoos he got an honorary tattoo of a petroglyph-style whale on the back of his neck.

When he was born his mother wanted to name him Michael but his father wanted to name him a traditional name. So as a result he has two first names Michael and Fórn. His people didn't have typical last names and went by either their location, profession or by the name of their father with son or daughter at the end. His last name is Narrison meaning Son of Narri. When he has children they'll be referred to as Michaelson or Michaeldaughter or as Fórnson or Fórndaughter.

On the Streets.

When he was seven his mother fell ill and later died as a result. His father quickly let his mistress and two children move into the house. His half-siblings and stepmother were abusive and his father was just as bad. Narri never cared much for his son. Claiming the abuse was necessary for his growth and his purpose in the future. After his father broke Michael's ribs by throwing him across the room he later ran away from home.

He lived on the streets in a neighboring city till he was nine and was forcibly taken by a clan hailing from what would be called Gristol. They used him as slave labor until he escaped with a handful of other children. He would then along with the kids live together in an abandoned section of the city they were at. He would often go out and hunt and forage to make sure the other kids would eat. Occasionally resorting to street theft if times were harder.

The Colt.

When the Void began to seep into the material world Michael who was now twelve started taking notice of the hallows appearing throughout the land. When the other people panicked Michael was intrigued. He very unwisely touched one and the result changed his mind. When his hand graced the distortions he caught a glimpse of the future. He saw hamlets grow into villages and then into cities. Then fall into ruin. Some had new cities built upon them. He saw his homeland sink below the ocean as the ice sheets melted. He saw people change in appearance and in language. Wars were fought over the pettiest of things. He saw his father disappear behind a massive gate a figure with antlers standing behind him.

His hand was knocked away and he fell to the ground his nose bleeding black. A man in slate-colored robes stood before him. The man looked at him with curiosity.
"How are you not dead?" The man asked.
Michael didn't know what to say. He still wasn't the best at speaking this language.
"Come, stay with us." He grabbed his hand and pulled him away from the hallow where more people in robes awaited. They stood by a longship that looked like one his people use.

He never had a chance to say goodbye to his friends. He agreed to go with them. Not because he wanted to but because he was afraid of what would happen if he refused.

The people took him to a smaller island off the coast and to a temple that venerated the Void. Michael was confused by that. In his culture, the Void was nothing more than a great gap of nothingness from which all originated. Why would it be worshipped? It isn't a god.

He was taught about the Void and how there's a god there that can give people powers. It fascinated him. He was also taught how to read and how to write. He was taught music and poetry. He was also taught how to use a war hammer which he quickly began to prefer instead of his dagger and atlatl.

When he was fifteen the cult he was a part of finally told him their true intentions. The man who took him told him that the god died and that he was to take his place. His blood was unique for he was the son of a god. He was the chosen child. He couldn't escape for they were out at sea when this happened. He was tied up and placed below deck.

After Sacrifice.

His body was cast in stone in an eternal scream. His body slowly aged throughout the centuries and slowly changed his biology. By the time he was freed by Billie, he was physically in his twenties.

Powers/Weapons. (After becoming human.)

Teleportation. Much like in the games he can disappear and reappear in a cloud of Void dust.
Abnormal Strength. He's able to lift people and objects a normal person can't lift. Helps him at his dockworker job a lot.
Foresight. While no longer the Outsider he still has glimpses of the future in his sleep.
Healing. He can use Void energy to heal his wounds. From a bullet hole to a paper cut.
The Tether. He's able to sense his daughter's location as long as she isn't too far away.
Shock. This power comes from his natural-born gifts. He's able to shoot s beam of electricity out of his hands but can't use it too much.
Magnetic Powers. Can send out an electric pulse that allows the control of metal. Has a time limit and is painful for him.

He also uses a war hammer he stole from a Tyvian museum that belonged to his tribe. He also knows how to craft traps, spears, and flint-based daggers. He was later taught how to fight with modern weapons but finds guns disgusting.
