I clung tightly to the left side of my body, hands trembling and drenched with my blood. My leg dragged along behind as I sharply lunged forward in desperation, just like I had been doing for at least two miles already, but I could feel my body limping and falling effortlessly weak. I wouldn't be able to carry on for much longer. Thick fog layed before me perfectly mirroring the overwhelming grey sky which had been stained with tonnes and tonnes of smoke from relentless riots of despair; thats what I felt close to in this moment. Despair. But I made a promise I didn't intend to break, so, I continued to feebly march forward the best I could, my breath weighted with my overexertion. For miles along this desolate road comforted by nothing but empty yet extensive fields of dull green. I could imagine this once was a bright and elegant area of countryside that brought great tranquility to travel through but not anymore. Natural beauty was difficult to find nowadays. I felt my vision slipping away from me as my centre of gravity was dragging me closer and closer to the cracked tarmac beneath me. As I felt my consciousness swiftly begin to slip away from me, a warm light flicked in the corner of my heavy eyes revealing an aged wooden cabin masked in the long, twisting arms of an ancient willow tree. I really am the Ultimate Lucky Student. Using what little determination and hope I still harboured, I hauled my body towards the light, determined not to lose myself in my overwhelming fatigue and agony or the field that was so unkept it was nearly towering over me. I began to slip on whatever laid beneath my feet in this miniature forest of polluted pasture but I had reached the cordial light I had struggled towards. The door was very unconveniently position on the side of a skinny corridor panneled with windows which must be used as some sort of porch entrance. I used my heavy body to force the door open which prompted me to pound onto the bitter, tiled floor beneath me. With immense determination, I managed to lift my arm from beneath my tired body and very ineffectively begin to crawl my way forward towards the large wooden door which I assume opened to the actual cabin. As I clung closer and closer, the door swung open with willpower I haven't seen since my time back at the school but luckily (haha) it just barely scathed my bruised skull as my chin was practically hugging the floor. In my delerious state, my reaction to the massive shotgun pointing directly between my eyes was somewhat delayed but by no means calm. My mouth was agape but my body was too fatigued to deliver a response so with my last ounce of energy I tried to lift my head to identify the assailant. To my surprise, I found my gaze consumed by a familiar, almost comforting intense yet bewitching stare from a gleaming pair of blue eyes. The same eyes that remind me of the ocean. "Naegi?!" With that, I had exhausted my body's abilities and my head crashed onto the floor.
