♔ Diane's P.O.V ♔
The school bell rang implifying the end of school. I quickly packed up my bag after Chemistry lesson. I walked towards the cafeteria and sat down at an empty booth. A hand slammed the table as I placed my pencil case into my bag. I looked up and gazed upon Janine and William. They kind of looked tensed.
"What were you thinking Diane? Hanging out with that." She said as she shot her finger at Loranna who was sitting across us, admiring her new fingernails again.
"Aww, come on, Janine, she seems like one of that cool people you know. It'll be worth being her friend." I replied. I gestured my eyes to William and he was resting his head on the table, looking rather down. I whispered to Janine, "Hey Janine, is William doing fine? He seemed drained these few days. And most of all, he kept sighing every time during lunch or in other subjects."
"He's alright, just down from something." She told and whispered ,"He wouldn't tell me.."
"And that something is?" I asked once again.
"Uhh, it's nothing, Diane.. I'm fine." William informed as he brought up his head to look at me.
I looked at William, giving one small opened mouth and closing it.
"Go get some rest William. I hope you're okay.. And you too Janine.." I said as I grabbed my bag and smiled at both of them.
"Just be safe, all right? Diane?" Janine reminded.
I nodded as I briefly left the room and went to my locker.
As I opened my locker, there was a "surprise" post-it note that was lying on top of my stack of books. How did the person...The note should have been dropped off and into the spacings on the locker door.
I grabbed the note and read:
Don't think this is over.
JUST. YOU. WAIT. :)I could obviously tell that it was Tricia. Gee, she wouldn't want to miss having fun, getting back at people. I crushed the note real tight and threw it into the dustbin and I failed miserably as I sighed watching the crumpled note tumbling onto the floor. Ridiculous. I crouched over and scooped up the note and threw it in properly this time. I placed my textbooks and notebooks into my locker and shut it lock.
I shifted the bag to my other shoulder as I walked briefly through the quiet hallway and round pass the corner into the concourse. I waited for Loranna and Wyatt to come round.
For 3 minutes, I had been standing there waiting for them and constantly checking my phone, looking like one complete idiot. I saw Loranna coming round the corner and towards me. Wyatt looked at me from a distance and smiled as he walked towards me.
"You guys ready?" Loranna asked as she was putting on some mascara as it seems.
"Let's go," I replied.
We walked pass the parking lot near the general office and into the long stretched hallway that leads out of the school, pushed open the gate and closing after.
"So... what did that freak Trish want with you?" Loranna asked, looking at me from the side.
"It's noth-" got cut off by Loranna as she briefly says,
"Don't worry, I won't judge, come on. Tell me." she smiled.
I have the feels of not trusting her somehow.. But I told anyways.
"She's way too obsessed with Noah and as you know, I am dating him, it's really.. complicated." I replied.
"She's been like that... I've seen worst." Loranna said.
