Victory and a New Hero

Meanwhile Viperion, Carapace and Rena Rouge were still protecting New York.

Majestia throws a huge crane she picked up like it’s a feather and threw it towards them with her super strength.

‘I got this! Shell-ter!’ Carapace cries, creating a green dome surrounding them which the crane just bounces off, not harming the three heroes.

‘We need something big to distract her!’ Rena whispers to Viperion and Carapace. ‘I know!’ She plays her flute and makes a huge rocket appear.

Majestia tries to catch it. ‘You’re no match for me rocket!’

The heroes smile. ‘It’s working! Great job Rena!’ Viperion exclaimed.

Meanwhile, back in Paris, Ladybug, Cat Noir and Pegasus have gone to the Eiffel Tower through Pegasus’s portal.

Doorman appears and opens the drawer and picks an original key.
Doorman squeals with happiness. ‘Here it is! That key! The one that opens the safe hidden in the Statue!’

But before Doorman could teleport back into the museum, Ladybug and Cat Noir stop him and tie him up.

Doorman gasps. ‘NO!! At least let me see what's inside the safe!’

‘Sorry Doorman, no can do' Cat Noir replies.

‘Hurry, there’s not much time left!’ Ladybug exclaims.

‘Voyage!’ Pegasus says, opening up a portal back to New York.

At the Statue of Liberty. Sparrow and Uncanny Valley are flying as Miraclonizer sits watching.

They knock him off just as Pegasus’s portal opens and Ladybug manages to grab the Eagle Miraculous off of Miraclonizer as he falls down and detransforms back into Techlonizer.

‘I'll take that! SPARROW!’ Ladybug cries, throwing the Eagle Miraculous to Sparrow as she catches it lands with acrobatic precision as Liiri appears.

‘Hello, fledgling! All you have to say is: Liiri, wings of Liberty!’

‘Liiri-‘ Sparrow begins as she detransforms back into Jess.
‘-Wings of Liberty!’ she finishes.
Jess transforms into Eagle.

‘Cool down!’ she says, and all the adult superheroes return back to normal.

Viperion, Carapace and Rena Rouge join the other heroes.

‘Reality!’ Rena Rouge says as the rocket illusion she used to distract Majestia disappeared.

Shadowmoth watches from his hotel room. ‘They can't say I didn't warn them.’

Techlonizer calls out to them. ‘LADYBUG! CAT NOIR! THIS BE YOUR LAST CHANCE TO GIVE ME YOUR MIRACULOUS!’

‘NEVER!’ Ladybug and Cat Noir reply in unison.

At the Statue of Liberty, the rocket is about to blast off to the moon. All the heroes are shocked and Viperion gets ready to use his power of second chance if needed.

However, Majestia swoops in and stops the rocket with an unprecedented strength and throws it into the sun. The heroes and onlookers cheer.

Ladybug and the heroes continue fighting Techlonizer. Knightowl picks Ladybug up as Techlonizer gets grabbed by Knightowl.

‘Cataclysm!’ Cat Noir cries as he activates his Cataclysm and uses it to hit the gauntlets as Techlonizer detransforms back into Techno-Pirate.
‘No more evil-doing for you, little Akuma!’ Ladybug says as she swings her yo-yo. ‘Time to de-evilize!’ She catches the akuma with her yo-yo. ‘Gotcha!’

Ladybug releases the akuma, turning it back into a normal butterfly. ‘Bye-bye, little butterfly. Miraculous Ladybug!’

Ladybug throws her Lucky Charm into the air as all the Miraculous ladybugs magically fix everything all around New York City. Techlonizer, who is confused, is being sent to jail again.

‘Seriously, what happened?!’ Techno-Pirate asks as he’s led away in handcuffs again.

Eagle slowly attempts to take off her Miraculous, but Ladybug stops her. ‘Keep it. I know you'll use it well!’ she smiles.

Eagle sighs. But...I've disobeyed again, which means... I'll never get my weapons back, right?’ she asks, looking at Knightowl.

Knightowl smiles. ‘With the powers of the Miraculous, you won't need them anymore. And I was wrong. My little Sparrow is ready to become a fearsome Eagle.’

Eagle was on the verge of tears. ‘Thank you, Mom!’ she says as she hugs Knightowl.

Majestia smiles. ‘And even though it still worries us, the only way for you to grow is for us to let you take chances. Thank you, Ladybug, Cat Noir and your team, for inspiring them.’

‘And please forgive us for misjudging you’ Knightowl adds.

The superhero group of Ladybug, Cat Noir, Viperion, Carapace, Rena Rouge, Pegasus, Eagle and Uncanny Valley do a group fist bump. ‘POUND IT!’

Shadowmoth grins from his hotel room and speaks to Nathalie via his tablet: “The Eagle miraculous slipped through my grasp, but no matter. Now I know my theory was correct. There are other lost Miraculous. And wherever they are in the world, they will be mine!”

Ladybug suddenly thought of something. ‘Uncanny, what about our secret identities?’

‘Don't worry! All of your identities will stay safe with me. I will encrypt this information so nobody but me will ever be able to find out’ she assured them.

‘Thank you for bringing Cat Noir back’ Ladybug smiles. He hugs her.
Astrocat smiles. ‘I'll see you back in Paris, partner!’

Uncanny Valley and Astrocat fly off back to the plane.

The heroes miraculouses began to beep. ‘Time we were off too, otherwise the whole world and not just Uncanny will know our identities!’ Ladybug chuckled. ‘All of you meet me where I first gave you your miraculous!’

They all nod and leap away, Ladybug retrieving Max’s, Nino’s and Alya’s miraculouses before saving Luka’s for last.

Luka had already detransformed in the alley and had fed Sass half a croissant from breakfast he luckily still had in his pocket. Ladybug landed next to him and quickly put the snake bracelet back into her yo-yo.

‘Spots off!’ she said, detransforming back into Marinette as Tikki flew into her purse to eat a macaron.

‘That was quite the memorable trip!’ Luka giggled.

‘Yeah, it really was...’ Mari blushed. ‘Thank you for helping me out today my love' Marinette smiled.

‘No problem. Luckily, we didn’t need second chance, but it was still nice to be able to help out, you know?’ Luka replies.

‘Yeah. Sometimes it’s good to have the insurance' Marinette agrees as Luka brings her in close for a hug. Mari sighed happily in his loving arms.

‘We should get back to the hotel. The others might be worried' Luka smiled.
‘Good idea, let’s go!’ Mari replied as they walked hand in hand back to the hotel.

Now that the danger had passed, the Friendship Week activities had resumed.

Mari checked her phone as her and Luka walked back and watched a news segment from Paris.

Nadja: “The Mayor's office is quickly set to work to repair the damage Robostus caused in Paris. We did miss our local heroes, Ladybug and Cat Noir, but for a good reason. At the same moment, they were busy saving New York! How fitting for French American Friendship Week! We wish them safe travels home to Paris!”

‘Told you everything would work out my angel' Luka said softly, kissing her hair.

‘I never doubted you for a minute' Mari smiled, squeezing Luka’s hand as they continued walking to the hotel.
