After the plane lands and the students disembark, they catch a bus to their hotel. They see Techno-Pirate being put into a police car. Luka was checking on Juleka on the bus as Marinette called her parents. After she hung up, she talked to Alya. She sees a super hero out the window.
‘Hey! What's that guy doing?’ she asks Alya.
‘Oh, it's just Captain Redlight, organizing the traffic. There's a superhero for everything here, you know! So... what happened on the plane with you and Luka… looking out the window…?’ Alya smirks.
Marinette blushes. ‘You… saw that?’
‘Mmm-hmm!’ Alya replies.
‘We just watched the clouds and the sunset. It was… quite romantic actually…’ Mari smiles dreamily.
Alya giggled. I bet that kiss was too she thought to herself.
On the other side of the bus, Adrien watches a news segment from Paris on his phone.
Nadja: “Paris is safe from supervillains! Have Ladybug and Cat Noir put an end to Hawk Moth's activities? A segment by Clara Contard.”
Nino notices. ‘Forget about Paris, dude! You're in New York now! Your old man's not here, and when the cat's away, the mice will play! Open your eyes, know what I mean? Take it all in!’ Nino motions out the window.
Adrien starts smiling. ‘It is beautiful...’
Sparrow meanwhile was tailing the bus to its destination. She uses her communicator. “The Little Croissants are en route.”
Knightowl replies over his communicator. “Good. Don't leave them.”
Uncanny Valley replies. “Roger that! Meet you in the lobby!” She detransforms into Aeon and runs away.
Sparrow uses her grappling guns to swing away. Aeon uses her X-ray vision to scan the French students as they walk in.
“All students present and accounted for” Aeon reports on her communicator.
A boy from Queens named Delmar greets them. ‘Hey! You guys the cool French kids that made that sock puppet movie! We're from Armstrong High in Queens!’
Jessica rolls her eyes. ‘Ugh... Babysitting some tourists and their socks? I mean, don't they have anything better for us to do?’ She crosses her arms.
Aeon smiles at Marinette and Luka. ‘Those two are made for each other.’
Jess rolls her eyes at her. ‘Seriously, Aeon? Not again!’
‘But I am programmed to help people, Jess!’ Aeon replies.
‘Just stop meddling with people's private lives!’ Jess replies.
Aeon smiles. ‘You're right! Let's just follow the orders and protect the tourists and their socks!’
Ms Mendeleiev claps, gaining the class attention. ‘Listen up, students! You'll go into your rooms by groups of four! Everyone come take your itinerary. And when I come up in two and a half minutes, you had better be in your rooms, with the lights out!’
The students complain quietly amongst each other as they go to their rooms.
Delmar whispers to them. ‘Hey! Sock buddies! We're throwing a little party on the rooftop if you're interested. Hang with us, but be quiet, okay?’ He winks at Sabrina as she blushes, Alya nudges her and smiles.
‘I think there's an American boy who'd love to see you there, Sabrina. And you might make a friend!’ Alya says as she nudges Marinette then laughs.
‘You... you think so?’ Sabrina says hopefully.
Chloe rolls her eyes. ‘Ugh, a rooftop party at this slum?!! You want me to catch lameness and cooties?! That's ridiculous! SABRINA! SUITCASE!’ She storms away.
