‘I can’t believe this has turned out to be such an eventful trip. First Cat Noir giving up his miraculous and my friend Adrien leaving? And both of us leaving Paris without a hero at all! And the New York heroes don’t even trust us anymore and want to strip us of our Miraculous?’
‘It will be okay angel. I’m sure we’ll think of something’ Luka assured her.
He can always make me feel better Marinette sighs and smiles slightly in his loving embrace.
Suddenly they look up to see Majestia moving the moon.
‘Woah, what’s happening? It’s like the adult heroes have gone haywire! They’re not protecting the city, they’re destroying it!’ Marinette gasps.
She looks into Luka’s eyes. ‘Luka... I might have to ask you... Can you be the holder of the cat miraculous?’
‘Mari... I... I couldn’t... I...’ Luka begins.
‘Luka, please. I can’t do this on my own...’ Mari looks at him pleadingly.
Luka smiles. 'I would try my best for you, my angel.’
Just then, Uncanny Valley finds Marinette and Luka.
‘Marinette Dupain-Cheng, New York needs Ladybug!’ Uncanny Valley smiles.
Marinette gasps. ‘I-I'm sorry... I-I-I can't help you. I don't know her!’
Uncanny Valley smiles. ‘Your suit's quantum masking is meant to confuse- ‘
She detransforms into Aeon.
‘-human minds, Ladybug. I am not human!’ Aeon finishes.
Marinette and Luka gasp. ‘What?!’
Tikki and Plagg gasp of shock too.
‘Miraclonizer is really an akumatized Techno-Pirate. Which means Shadowmoth is in New York too! We cannot defeat them without the girl who can fix everything’ Aeon smiles.
Marinette was unsure. ‘I don't know if I can do this... I can't imagine being Ladybug without Cat Noir by my side.’
‘I would have to step into his shoes if he doesn’t come back....’ Luka said sadly.
‘Bur we can’t know who he is so we have no idea where he’s gone!’ Marinette replies.
Aeon transforms into Uncanny Valley again. ‘This, I can fix!’
Marinette and Luka smile determinedly at Uncanny Valley and Luka gives her the Cat Miraculous.
Uncanny flies off.
Still hiding in the alley, Marinette transforms.
‘Tikki, spots on!’ she cries, transforming into Ladybug.
Luka smiles. ‘I could never get tired of watching that...’
Ladybug smiles and blushes. Then she opens up her yo-yo. ‘Time to put the odds back in our favour.’
She takes out the snake miraculous and gives it to Luka. He puts it on and Sass appears.
‘Greetingsss again Luka!’ Sass smiles.
‘Hello again Sass!’ Luka smiles back.
‘Sass, scales slither!’ Luka cries, transforming into Viperion.
‘I could never get tired of watching that too...’ Ladybug smiles as it was Viperion’s turn to blush.
‘Meet me on the roof. I need to gather some of the other heroes. Don’t activate your power until I tell you' Ladybug instructs him.
‘Will do Ladybug!’ Viperion replies.
