"Once upon a time, in ancient China, lived an immortal Monkey Demon named Sun Wukong. He was powerful and the king of Flower Fruit Mountain monkeys. One day, while watching over the small village below, he saw a beautiful woman on a pilgrimage. She had beautiful brown eyes, half purple, and half brown hair, and wore a beautiful golden yellow kimono and blue cloak. Wukong got curious about this mysterious woman, so he transformed into a human man and greeted her. But the woman saw right through his disguise and pulled him into the closest house and told him that she was the Goddess of Peace, Xiuying and that she was seeking protection from the pantheon of Greek Gods, since she cared for the humans of the mortal realm, and they didn't. Now-"
"KIDS! ORDER UP!" A loud voice yelled from the kitchen where we start.
"AW come ON! Uncle Tang was just at the good part, Uncle Pigsy!" A ten-year-old girl with brown eyes, tan skin, and orange hair with brown and purple streaks, wearing jean shorts, a purple top, black ballet flats, and a jade necklace. Her name was Sun Anna.
"It's okay, Anna. Uncle Tang can continue the story later." An 18-year-old girl with brown eyes, tan skin, and orange and purple hair, wearing jeans, red flats, a yellow crop top, a blue jacket tied around her waist, and a jade necklace. Her name was Sun Jane, Anna's older sister.
The last one in there was a nineteen-year-old boy with tan skin, brown eyes, and brown hair, and he was wearing red pants, black and white sneakers, a white shirt, and an orange jacket. His name was Sun Mark Kilani or MK for short. He was Anna and Jane's older brother.
"Let's head out girls!" MK announced, before getting grabbed by the shirt.
The one who had caught MK was Xiuying, the trio's mother. (Yes it's that Xiuying from Tang's story, but only she and her kids knew that about her.) She was wearing a purple dress and black heels, with her hair tied up in a bun with chopsticks keeping it up.
"Not so fast young man, I want you and your sisters to be safe, okay?" Xiuying requested her son, who nodded in response.
"Don't worry, Mommy, we'll be okay!" Anna reassured her mother, hugging her.
"I know, my little peach blossom. I just worry sometimes." The goddess replied, rubbing her youngest daughter's cheek with her thumb.
"Xiuying, must you baby them? MK is already old enough to drive!" A male asked from behind Tang, a twenty-eight-year-old monk telling the three children the legend. The man was a pig demon, wearing black pants, a white shirt, and a gold wedding ring, identical to Tang's. His name was Pigsy, Tang's husband.
"I don't tell you how to cook or treat your lover, do I? Then leave being a mother to me, Pigsy." Xiuying sassed, causing the two males to blush and the trio to snicker behind their mother.
"Burn. Nice one, Mama." Jane giggled, nudging her brother a bit.
TimeSkip time! (Yes, I'm skipping the part where MK gets the staff, sort of. You'll see why tho.)~
In the cavern where the three were, Anna heard the singing of two sisters. One had brown hair with golden yellow tips and wore blue jeans, white sandals, a pink top, and a blue gem necklace. Her name was Aurora Prysm. Next to her was her older sister, Sari Prysm. She wore blue jeans, black heeled boots, a purple top, and an identical necklace to her sisters. The two looked very alike, except Sari's hair was black with golden yellow tips instead of brown. The two had tan skin and golden-yellow eyes.
"I don't know about this. Maybe we'll never get away from this life." Aurora whimpered, tears starting to brim her eyes.
"Don't start thinking like that, little sister. We will get out of here." Sari soothed her sister, rubbing circles on her back while simultaneously hugging her.
"Excuse me? Do-do you two need some help?" Anna asked, startling the two girls.
"Oh. Are you lost, young one?" Sari asked the child, who shook her head.
"I'm here with my big sister and big brother. We work for my Uncle Pigsy in his noodle shop. We're here to deliver some noodles." The younger girl replied, tilting her head in confusion.
"Oh, my Buddha she's so cute!" Aurora squealed, stars appearing in her eyes.
"Thanks. If you want, I can help you get outta here. I heard you guys worrying about something?" Anna offered, motioning to her siblings.
The elder of the two sisters thought long and hard before being yanked out of her thoughts when Aurora grabbed her arm and nodded vigorously.
"Great! My name's Anna, what are yours?" The young girl asked the duo.
"I'm Sari Prysm, and this is my little sister Aurora. It's nice to meet you, Anna." Sari replied as the child led the two girls toward her older sister.
'NOTHER TIMESKIP! (I'm just tired ya'll.)~
"And you're saying you two had an abusive adopted mother, who is also a demon, and tried to run away multiple times before being saved by Anna?" Pigsy asked the duo skeptically, while Xiuying addressed Aurora's scars on her arm as Sari explained their reasons.
"Yes sir. We were fortunate that Anna and her siblings found us." Sari replied, rubbing her sister's back as she ate some ramen prepared by the demon pig.
"Holy crap, this is so good! I see why you have your own noodle shop, Mr. Pigsy!" Aurora chirped happily, stars in her eyes and her aura shining bright.
"Thank you! I try my hardest with everything!" Pigsy said with pride, Tang laughing at his husband.
"If you don't mind my asking, why do you have so many scars?" Xiuying asked the girl, who responded with quiet whimpers, shocking everyone.
"My sister has severe PTSD, a product of a war that we went through in our old home. We don't like talking about it much, because when we do, she has panic attacks." Sari explained, hugging her sister close, and rubbing her back.
"Oh dear, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to pry." The woman stuttered, panicking a little.
"It's alright. I've been protecting her all our lives. I'm used to it." The elder of the two sisters murmured, the other falling asleep in her sister's arms.
"W-what happened to you two?" Tang asked, almost scared of the black haired girl's answer.
"What hasn't? War, losing our parents, abuse, the works. Heh, we're lucky to even get by with Princess Iron Fan as our supposed mother. Not unscathed, though. Our Baba always said that scars are memories of our pasts, both triumphs and losses. We didn't know how much it would when we lost him and our Mom." Sari replied, looking at her sister sadly as she moved a strand of her hair from her face.
"Oh dear." Was all Xiuying could say, the others shocked, Tang on the verge of tears, Pigsy almost plae in fear for his future family, and the trio clinging to each other, not wanting what happened to the two girls to happen to them.
