I fix my sleeves, and open my eyes. #1200's DNA rested in a small cooler, to keep it alive. or- him i would say, Damien. i put on my gloves and grab some tongs to very carefully take it out without giving myself frostbite. i gently set it in a test tube holder. grabbing a syringe and extracting some DNA from the test tube, carefully putting a drop of it on a glass slide. the DNA started to create frost. hm, how strange..  I've never seen anything like this in my line of work. i added a cover slip over the DNA and put it under the microscope. i pause and take off my glasses, reaching into my pocket to pull out contacts. "uhg. these are always a pain." i slightly pull my bottom eyelid down and place the contact in my eye, letting go of my bottom eyelid. i blink a bit rapidly, letting my eye get used to the contact.  i do the same with the other eye only i let out a small groan. it was irritating my eyes, but i needed to be able to see to inspect the DNA. i run my fingers through my hair, then pulling a hair band out of my pocket, tying my hair up. i want to be cautious with Damien because of countless reports of the DNA  being aggressive or rather abnormal. I'm honestly puzzled on  what they mean by "aggressive", but i suppose i'll just have to figure it out myself.  i walk back over to the microscope and put my eye up to the scope as i fix the glass plate underneath, fixing the focus on the scope. inside i see the DNA but.. its different? all the cells are frozen. how unexpected for this early of a stage.  i zoom in, the cells moved at a quick pace even though they were frozen. i felt my body start to shiver, confused i look up from the microscope and the room was slightly fogged. i didn't even realize that there was loads of cold oxygen flowing out of the drop i placed in the microscope. i cover my grab my glasses and began to back up but, my shoes froze to the floor. how, how is that possible?! this isn't normal.. no no what if he's another failed experiment? i shake my head, feeling my whole body start to cover with frost. i QUICKLY take my shoes off, falling onto the floor. the ground became covered in ice shards. i arch my back in pain, feeling some ice shards dig into my back. i get up on my feet, slightly stumbling, running out the door and closing it behind me with a large amount of force. the noise of the door slamming echoed through the halls. people started to poke their heads out of their offices, staring at me. how embarrassing.. i should have never done this in the first place. i quickly head to my office, covering my face. snickering could be heard from my co-workers next to my office.  my back hurt like hell. i felt my back, and flinched in pain when i grazed upon an icicle stuck in my back. i tried not to panic and took a deep breath, grabbing onto the icicle with one hand. at an insane speed i RIP the icicle out of my back, yelling in pain. blood streamed down my once fully white lab coat, dripping onto the ground. i take off my lab coat and shirt, still aching in pain. searching for my med kit, looking in drawers, in cabinets, but i finally found it under my desk.

i grab the med kit, shaking rapidly. opening the case i grab the bandages, i can feel myself getting dizzy, blood flowing out of my back. my vision started to blur as i got drowsy, i leaned against my desk, trying to open the bandages. panting and shaking, i finally get it open! but.. i start to close me eyes. no no no no! don't pass out! i squeeze the bandages as my eyes water. i cant leave now, i have to hold on, for Alisa, for Damien..
