Today was the day.

The day Jocelyn Evans and a group of Midtown students travelled across the world to quest upon their European adventure. The group of teenagers was no doubt very excited for this trip. For each of them, this trip was a get away from school. But for Jocelyn Evans, Peter Parker, and Lucas Davis, this was a trip away from heroic responsibilities. For an entire week, they didn't even want to think of their responsibilities at home.

"Did you pack your suit?" Dave asked nervously standing in front of his daughter.

But that didn't mean Jocelyn wasn't prepared in case of emergencies.

Shrugging her backpack up higher, she held up her wrist to reveal her bracelet that was tucked into her grey sweatshirt. "Yeah, I have it. But it doesn't mean I'm using it." She informed dropping her hand to her side. The comment earned a scoff from Ellie, standing next to her dad and facing her sister.

"As long as you have it." Dave smiled.

Ellie crossed her arms and glanced around the busy airport. With the sounds of taxis screeching, cars honking at another from being cut off, and police officers yelling at cars that their parked in a no parking zone, the Evans family could barely hear another. But Ellie was going to use that as a reason to get rid of Jocelyn faster.

"Can we hurry up? I'm going to a movie in an hour and want to make previews." Ellie whined, tugging on her dad's sleeve impatiently.

Dave frowned and glanced at his younger daughter, then to his eldest in hesitancy. He was always skeptical about Jocelyn going on this trip. After he lost her for many years, he been rather paranoid about her safety. Although he is reassured by her wearing a bracelet that could protect her, he was still anxious about this whole trip. The Avengers can save her from villains that attack but who will be there if she breaks a bone?

"A few more minutes, El." He sighed out an anxious breath. "Jocelyn, do you have your first aid kit? Spare charger? Emergency credit card?" His face continued to etch closer into panic as he listed off things she may have forgotten. Jocelyn found his worry sweet but a bit excessive.

An arm slung around Jocelyn's shoulder, interrupting Jocelyn before she had a chance to speak. "Don't worry, Mr. E. Jocelyn is in great hands and will promise to text you daily." Alex explained with a grin. Jocelyn shot her a glare from the promise she just made to her father on behalf of her. But Alex was still grinning, her red hair tied back in a messy bun with a few strands that fell in front of her face not caring about Jocelyn's hateful look. Ellie nodded in agreement to Alex's statement, tugging on her dad's arm again trying to convince him to leave.

Dave glanced between the two teenage girls in front of him and let out a heavy breath in defeat. "Be safe." He mumbled, accepting that it was time to say goodbye. Jocelyn's glare turned into a smile at the statement, taking a step forward to wrap her arms around her dad's waist. Dave hugged his daughter back tightly. "I love you." He whispered against her hair.

Jocelyn smiled and gave her dad a tight squeeze. "I love you too."

Alex propped up Jocelyn's suitcase handle and took it in her grasp. Holding a piece of luggage in each hand and her backpack on her back, Alex grinned at the father daughter sight in front of her. "Come on, Jocie. Everyone is waiting for us inside." Alex stated, hating to break up the moment but knew they were already running late.

Dave squeezed his daughter one final time before letting her go. Jocelyn stepped back and took her suitcase from Alex, glancing over at Ellie who looked bored. Giving a small smile, "I'll see you later, El." Jocelyn said.

Ellie gave a small smile that lifted in the corner of her mouth but it vanished the moment it appeared. Eager to move along, Alex begun walking away and Jocelyn took the hint that it was time to go. Her smile grew looking at her family while taking a few steps back to follow after Alex.
