"Would you look at that! He didn't skip town!"

Jerking awake, I looked down groggily at my watch, finding it was only 1 in the afternoon, I muttered a curse under my breath. Precious time wasted to me paying the price of my insomnia. Trying to at least look like I had been functioning and awake, I sat upright and tried to make sense of what I had been doing before I passed out. Scanning over the Icarus told me jack shit. But, whatever tools I had been working with were scattered about on the concrete floor. With a heavy sigh, I ran my hand through my hair. Looking down at the pilot's console, I couldn't make sense of any of the notes there. Stretching with a yawn, I rubbed my eyes, before examining the outstretched wing that I had been laying on.

"Morning boys. Or... Afternoon." I mumbled.

"Did you just wake up or something?" Turning my attention to the speaker, I resisted the urge to practically hiss down at the pair of Bounty Hunters. Sighing heavily, I jumped down from the wing. Landing delicately on the concrete.

"I was peacefully dozing until you two decided to stop by," I picked up the various tools from the floor, and tucked them into the proper box. Before jumping back up onto the wing, "Now make this quick, I have places to be if my sweet songbird got back to me."

"'Songbird'?" I could only grin when I heard he was equally as groggy. Leaning down, I took notice whereas Jet looked like this was a normal occurance for him, Spike looked like he had just rolled out of bed. The messy state of his hair feeding into said idea.

"Contact. All ya need ta know," I said simply, dropping into the hatch of the Icarus to put my tools away where they belonged. Before popping back out and sitting on the edge of the wing, "Now, I feel like you're here to do most of the talking, Black."

There was a long, drawn out pause. Flipping open a small notebook I kept handy, I began to scour my notes for something to go off of. I had passed out completely, with no idea how long I had been asleep. With no memory of what I had been doing beforehand... Not to mention exposed like that. Yes, I and my ship were under some kind of shelter, but once the sun hit the right angle, I could be frying.

"Someones done their research." He muttered, sending a concerned look over to his comrade.

"Figured I should. How else am I to run from my Hunters?" I asked, as I rose to my feet, "Plus, I should put my Black Moon sources to good use. Normally I'd do the research myself, but I was on borrowed time."

"Now, Spike mentioned you tried to make a deal with him. Why he didn't just haul your ass back to the BeBop-"

"Call it good faith." I cut in, watching the Hunter in question.

"Call it a bad idea." Spiegel muttered, scratching at the back of his head with a yawn.

"Made him an offer he couldn't refuse. An offer I'm guessing he didn't let you in on based on how personal the nature of it all is. I'm willing to bet I could do the same for you, Mr Bla-"

"Jet. Call me Jet."

I paused, having sat on the edge of the hatch. Did I touch a nerve of some sorts? Was he used to, "Detective Black," rather than, "Mr Black?" Did it unnerve him that much in a difference in name? Chuckling, I nodded in agreement.

"Alright Jet. Let's see here. I am a touch drowsy, so you'll have to pardon my yawning," Reaching down into the cockpit, I withdrew my blazer, while scouring over the small notebook in my lap, "Right... It was about your arm."

When I looked up from the book, Spike had definitely perked up. Jet however seemed disinterested.

"Yes, you put Udai away, but he was not the one who took your arm. But, even with as tiny as insignificant as that is, wouldn't you like to expose the monster for what it really is? To show the syndicate's power over Ganymede. Or to cut it off entirely. It's a bomb ready to blow! The only problem is how do you want to cut it~" I chuckled as I stood to my full height, walking along the spine of the Icarus, "Oh don't look at me like that. If you boys have done such extensive homework, you'd know exactly what Black Moon gets up to."
