Kevin's POV
"Y/n, son. Hurry up and get changed we're going out for breakfast. I have a shirt you can borrow if you'd like. I think it'll suit you. It's a blue short sleeved button up one. It's too small for me so it should fit you." I shout through
Y/n door.
"Yes please Pops." He reply's. I can hear him scramble around his room.
I grabbed the shirt and knocked on the door.
He opened it a tiny bit a reached his hand out to grab the shirt.
When he came out six minutes later he was wearing a plain pair of black trousers with the blue shirt and some plain black shoes.
"Does this look alright?" He asked.
"You look great very smart and very handsome, come on son we'll go to the nice café you like." My husband suggests appearing behind me.
"You're right Raymond he does look quite masculine and I think that The Breakfast House is a great idea." That was the name of the café he was suggesting.
Y/n nods and grabs his phone putting it in his pocket and putting his headphones around his neck.
"Alright let's go." He declares.

The café was small and cute with wooden rustic furniture. We all had a glass of water in front of us and where waiting to order.
"Hello there what can I get for you three today?" The waitress smiled as she took her stance at the end of the table.
"I'll have French Toast please?" I ordered.
"Just plain Oatmeal did me." Raymond requested.
"I'll have the granola with fresh blueberries and strawberries please." Y/n ordered last.
The waitress read out the orders then went to the kitchen.
The food didn't take long to arrive and we all ate pretty quickly, especially considering how much we had to do today.
It was Saturday which meant that Raymond got the day off so we could all spend the day together meaning it was the perfect time for this.
"I'll go pay at the counter you decide what we'll do next clothes and binder shopping haircut or name change office?" Holt gets up and grabs his wallet from his coat which was hung on the back of his chair.
"Well what do you want to do?" I asked.
"Name change I need to find ideas for haircuts before I get it cut." He responded.
"Alright then son." I nod and start to put my coat on.

The name change office wasn't as busy as I thought it would be but that was great news. It meant we'd be able to get more stuff done today.
"Next!" The nan at the desk shouted.
"Hi my son would like to change his name." Holt explains.
"Reason?"
"Change of gender identity."
"Name your changing it to."
"Y/n." Y/n chips in.
"And do you want to change you gender on your forms as well?" He asked.
The kid nods and golf says yes.
"Fill in this form then fake if to the desk over there. You will receive a letter with all of your new documents within the next couple of days. Have a lovely day." He smiled and handed Y/n a paper to fill in.
Y/n was so excited he filled in the form before we reached the other desk.
There were a few people in the queue but afterwards few minutes it was our turn. He handed the lady the paper and she stamped it and smiled.
"You'll get your updated documents tomorrow or Monday have a nice weekend." She beamed happily and waved us goodbye.
"Did you find the haircut you wanted to get while we were waiting?" I ask. He nods and shows us a picture on his phone.
"I think it will suit you I can't wait to see it." Holt walks ahead showing us the way to the barbers near by.
Y/n explains what he wants and is shown where to sit. We have to wait outside for him.
He comes out around twenty minutes later with h/l hair and it suited him really well.
"You look amazing I'll go pay the barber." I reach into my pocket but Y/n cuts me off.
"Already payed him." He smiled proudly.
"We were supposed to be treating you today kid." Holt interrupted.
"I can't let you pay for everything." He argues.
"Ok I guess so let's go get you clothes and some binders." I suggest.

I dragged y/n through different shops throwing different outfits for him to try on. Some of the outfits were jeans a shirts others were work type trousers with button down short sleeved shirts, we even got him two hoodies and some joggers for 'lazy days' as he called them. Once we had got three bags full of clothes for him we decided to go get him some binders.
"Hey we'll get you the binders we know what we need to get you how about you go look around these other shops. There's a book shop over there why don't you go get some books?" I point to a vintage styled bookstore just across the road.
"Yeah I guess so I gave you the size I needed written on a piece of paper before." He strolled over to the store and disappeared inside. The only reason I didn't want him with us was so that people wouldn't know he was trans I want him to feel as masculine as possible and people knowing that he wasn't always a boy won't help that.
