Sophia's pov
I feel the air being taken from my lungs. I desperately gasp for breath in this moment of madness. It's like a movie...it's all happening in slow motion.
I look at Nikki, his nostrils flared and eyebrows furrowed.
Not my wedding day. The day every woman dreams about.
" I object " the voice says again.
I watch as Nikki takes a step down from the alter , the crowd of people locking eyes with her. I stay where I am partially not wanting to get involved in what might happen.
" Deana " Nikki says slowly. The older lady stands at the bottom of the aisle. She looks hurted and frail.
" Frankie I - " She tries to speak, Nikki raises a hand to indicate stop talking.
I watch on in awe. I have no thoughts right now.
" Uhm excuse me " I turn back around to see Emi stood by the alter.
" Hi there um, we're just gonna take a short interval , please help yourself to any refreshments out by the garden " She smiles awkwardly and then points to the band who look on confused by start playing their instruments anyways.
I stand still in my place before Emi grabs me and finally brings me back to life.
" What the fuck " she says through gritted teeth as we fake smile to guests passing.
" I know " I respond.
We finally reach Nikki, luckily Tommy and Vince got there before Nikki could attack his "mother".
" are you fucking crazy, my fucking wedding, haven't you ruined my life enough " He seethes.
" Can we please not do this here " I say looking around at people watching on.
Nikki brushes past her and into the house like a bat out of hell. I've never seen him as angry.
We all follow him inside , I take a deep breath preparing for all of this , i'm sure as hell angry she interrupted my wedding but I also need to stay calm for Nikkis sake, this entire situation with his mother is extremely difficult for him I can't imagine what is going through his mind.
