A constant whooshing noise could be heard. The air whipped around me at vigorous speeds causing my hair to blow about. My clothes rippling harshly. Everything zoomed past at daring speeds as the earth drew near. Water as blue as the skies above washed along the surface below. Creating a shroud of mystery under my falling body. Panic began settling in, not sure of how I ended up like this in the first place, as my memory was troubling me in this moment.

Fear crept in, smothering around me like a blanket. There was no way someone could survive a fall from such a height, unless seen in an action movie. Time slowed as the water neared, strange shaped shadows swam under the surface probably waiting for a next meal. Because nothing was more appetizing than a tall lean boy with hair as golden as the sun and eyes the color of liquid amber.

Rays cascaded down on me, almost like an embrace. It was engulfing me in light and as I made impact, there wasn't any sort of pain. Almost like it took all the damage, but soon I was swept under strong swells, fighting to resurface. Yet my effort were pointless and soon I began sinking.

Everything was dark, like the only blackness of space and the pressure all around increased as I swallowed water. Filling up my lungs, causing me to feel suffocated. There was this white light flashing with in the backs of my eyelids before everything went black.

Strange voices drew me back to consciousness as my eyes slowly fluttered open. Meaning I wasn't dead after all, something that highly confused me as all I remember was falling into the water. How did I not die on impact?

There were people crowded around, looking down at me in absolute confusion. They were all dressed in orange t-shirts each the exact same as the others. Some carried swords at their hips while others were dressed in some form of armour. Making me think this was one of those live action role playing things people do.

With a shaky hand, I brush a few stray curls out of my eyes. Taking note of the sand that I laid on. So it was some kind of beach, then. A boy with hair as golden and curly as mine was knelt beside me a first aid kit nestled in the grainy sand beside him. Just then I felt a pounding deep within my skull, hopefully I wasn't concussed.

"Where am I?" I finally asked trying to sit up. However I felt a tad woozy so it took a few minutes to get my strength, however the guy beside me provided aid.

"Camp Half Blood dude," a Latino guy with dark curly hair replied, he was dressed differently. In a white button up with a tool belt around his waist and what appeared to be grease smeared on his face.

"The barrier let him in so he's obviously a demigod," a girl with blonde hair and grey eyes, says looking over at a man with a long beard and the back end of a horse.

"Right I'm definitely dreaming," I voiced trying to rub my eyes to wake up, but I winced as a sharp pain shot across my ribs.

"Take it easy, here drink this," the boy beside me says handing over a canteen. As I took a swig, thinking it was water, I was shocked as it sort of tasted like honey mixed with Nutella. As it crept down my throat I left better in an instant.

"Can you remember anything, like your name?" The horse man asked, he too had armour on and a bow slung over his shoulder.

"I'm Kayden Kensington, and all I remember is falling from the sky. I should be dead but it was almost like the sun embraced my fall, making the landing soft," I answered as something began glowing above my head. It almost looked like a sun being pulled by a chariot.

"All hail Kayden Kensington son of Apollo," the man called out and everyone knelt down for a few seconds. Looking at me in awe, meanwhile I didn't have the faintest idea of what was going on.

"What are you talking about my parents are dead," I voiced almost freaking out. I was thinking about getting up and running but this place was foreign to me so I'd get lost quickly.

"It's hard to take in but your father is Lord Apollo of the sun. Who is also my father. I'm Will," the boy beside me explained while introducing himself, trying to ease the tension.

"Like as in the Greek myths?" I pondered scrunching up my brows. There is no way those could ever be real, but yet it seemed to explain why I'd often see weird things that couldn't be explained. Seeing as if I told anyone I'd end up in a hospital.

"Yeah dude, you catch on fast. Basically all those mythologies are real, from Greek and Roman to Norse and Egyptian. However we don't mix well with the latter," the grease covered boy replied amused by this whole ordeal. Despite his lack of seriousness he was kind of cute.

"Since you seem so knowledgeable Leo why not show Kayden around camp," horse man suggested causing the boy to nod. Rubbing his hands on his pants, trying to clean them. They too had grease on them.

"As you wish Chiron," he states as Will helped me stand. My legs wobbled slightly however a regained balance after a few seconds, I stretched my arms up causing part of my ruined shirt to lift. Making some girls as well as guys eyes widen, some even pretended to feint. Looking down at the defined muscles I blushed before yanking the shirt down, feeling highly uncomfortable.

Then Leo escorted me off the beach showing off this camp. Now I hardly remember anything from my life, but I knew camps didn't look like this.

All around were Greek and Roman styled buildings each with a number. They were all different from the next, yet beautiful all the same. There were basketball hoops along with volleyball nets where some kids were hanging out.

The rock wall defied safety regulations as I could've sworn lava poured from the top. What kind of camp was this?

"This is the dinning pavilion where everyone eats, obviously. You have to sit with your cabin, and if you don't people will think your crazy. Not that that matters, Nico sits anywhere he pleases and nobody bothers him. You'll like him, good kid," Leo explained all the buildings and activities as we passed through different areas.

Off in the distance were fields of sweet smelling strawberries. They were being picked by guys with horns on their heads. Some played pan pipes which seemed to make the berries ripen so they could be picked.

"The satyrs are pretty chill, as long as you don't harm the nature around us. The Hermes kids get a thrill out of littering around the woods, when the Dryads get involved it's hilarious. It ends with some poor guy getting smashed over the head with a branch," Leo said as I stopped to look at everything.

From the top of a hill there was an overview of the valley where everything nestled in nicely. Despite my lack of memories or understanding for anything that was going on, this place was cool. Hopefully I find out what's going on...
