Having an entire camp of Roman demigods kneeling at my entrance definitely felt strange but also awesome at the same time. Of course I had no idea why they were gawking at me as if I was the saviour or some shit. But it was kind of flattering, of course it was short lived as Leo let out a charming laugh.

"Oh no he's not Apollo, just his son with an uncanny resemblance and some of his godly essence," Nico exclaimed holding his hands up with a smirk as Leo continued laughing, grabbing my shoulder for support, and I earned a glare from a girl with blonde hair and eyes that seemed timeless.

"Everyone this is Kayden," Will introduced me and soon the others all stood back up, some embarrassed about the mix up.

"Wait so they thought I was dad?" I asked still confused by the whole thing. Yeah I did look alot like him, but I didn't think it was enough to be mistaken as him. Unless it was the part of his godly essence in which I obtained from him.

"It's kind of a big deal for one of the gods to show up here," Jason explained smirking at his fellow campers as he knew that I wasn't Apollo, guess he didn't tell them different before we got here. Which is funny, to say the least.

"Go to our camp they show up at our doorsteps every other month," Leo joked winking at his friend, who had been to the camp loads. Given that they both save the world together multiple times.

"Why is that girl glaring at me as if I was scum stuck to her shoe?" I whispered to Will, still feeling that girls eyes on me. She was scaring me if I'm honest since I didn't know her, so therefore haven't done anything to hurt her.

He chuckled looking to where I motioned with my eyes "That's Calypso. She's Leo's ex, the one Nico and I told you about the other day. It was a tough break up, but he's the one to call it off. I'd say she's still in love with him and is jealous of you," he informed trying his best to make me under stand everything. Although sometimes it was best to be left out of the loop.

"Great and I thought Cupid was the worst of my problems," I sighed waving at the girl with a smirk, she scoffed turning away before walking over to talk to someone.

With that out of the way Jason lead the four of us into what looked like a business screening room, where we could discuss the quest at hand. This is where we tried our best to pick apart the prophecy to see what it meant.

People still gawked at me as I passed, some whispered to their friends. I'm pretty sure a couple feinted, another things that was strange to me. As I thought of myself as average looking. To be nice I smiled at them, waving my hand before following after the others.

"I believe it's talking about Apollo's sun palace, which resides over Malibu California. Seems like Cupid is held up there with Apollo's bow, which is quite dangerous in enemy hands. Since his arrows could contain plagues that would be unleashed on humankind, which essentially will wipe us all out. There have been reports that people have been seen all around the state to either be acting lovely towards someone, or in jealous fits of rage as they declare their love for someone who doesn't feel the same way. It's complete anarchy," Jason explained what we would be us against as a plan was in the process of being made.

"So people are falsely falling in love but Cupid's got dad's bow, meaning with the right motivation he could use it to take us all out. What happened to make him act like that?" I wondered playing with the bracelet on my wrist, the beads jingling as I did so.

Leo was tinkering once more, quietly this time. Focusing on the small parts in his hands, he stuck out his tongue as he focussed. Something that seemed so mundane to others, but I thought it was adorable. The talking stopped, causing me to turn my focus to the others who also were watching the boy in fascination, and maybe a hint of worry from Jason. Obviously not use to seeing his best friend acting in such a way.
