There wasn't an easy way to describe what it felt like when singing that song. It was like a magic washed over the whole boat, a bigger force at play. But in the moment everyone cheered up despite us being lead to our impending doom. Or what possibly could be, since Rachel didn't really predict any deaths within her prophecy.

Hopefully there weren't any underlining problems. We did try our best to read within the lines as well as inbetween them. But prophecies were tricky to decipher.

"Leo seems down in the dumps, maybe go talk to him. He might be more open with you about how he's doing, than he would with me," Jason says gaining my attention after I came out of the trance like state I seemed to be in.

"Where did he go?" I asked looking around not seeing the curly haired boy anywhere. He must've ventured off as I sang, or just after.

"He went to his room, it's just below deck. First door to the left," Will replied with a hopeful look, feeling bad for his friend.

I nodded making my way below deck, forgetting that each of us had a designated room. Not knowing how long this whole thing was going to take. For all we knew it could take months to complete.

The door was kept open, so I didn't have to knock hard on the doorframe. He was laying down on his bed, staring at the ceiling with a glum look on his face. Completely different to how he was when making the figurine of Maria for me, or showing me how to steer the boat.

And his friends truely were worried about him, considering he'd always been there for them when something was wrong. Now that they tried being there for him, he closed himself off. Not wishing to discuss things.

As I made my way into the room I noticed that it was untidy, but with machine parts and tools instead of clothes and other belongings. It gave me an insight as to how the Hephaestus cabin might have looked all the time. Spare parts everywhere along with half out together metalwork projects.

On his dresser was a picture of him, Piper and Jason. They were smiling at the camera, sitting at what appeared to be the campfire in the center of camp. Their expressions truely happy to be with one another, times must've been simpler for them back then.

"Your friends are worried about you. They thought maybe you'd talk to me about things," I say walking over to him, chancing it by crawling into the vacant side of the bed, looking at him rather than the ceiling.

"I'm just overwhelmed from seeing Calypso again. It's been months now and I'm totally over her. But every so often she'll write me letters claiming she still loves me. Yet I'm totally over her now, I feel like I'm moving on," he explained, opening up like the guys said he would. They have been saying all along that he acted like his old self around me.

"Moving on with who?" I asked, although I felt like I knew the answer already. He sighed looking over at me a blush on his cheeks.

"You obviously, you dork," he replied with a smirk, nudging our shoulders together. Hearing him confess it made me blush as well, an action I normally didn't do. "It's hard to explain but since seeing you on the beach I felt something I hadn't in awhile, something I hadn't even felt with Calypso. It's like you were meant to find me,"

"Are we sure it's not what ever magic Cupid is unleashing? He tried killing me, probably thinking I was Apollo. When he finds out I'm just his son, he might come back. To try again," I state the possibilities of things that could potentially be happening in this situation.

"On the contrary little nephew, what you're feeling is quite real, but buckle up as I've got big plans for your love lives," a female voice says causing us to both jump, sitting up looking about the room.

"Aphrodite," Leo mumbled under his breath although I'm sure the woman heard him. Standing in the doorway was the most breath taking woman I'd ever seen, well maybe not as beautiful as my mother. But a close second, really. However what shocked me, was her resemblance to Leo, it was as if they were related.

"As in the goddess of love?" I asked looking back at the boy beside me, he nodded not happy to be within the presence of the goddess.

"And Piper's mom," he added with a grunt, cleary demigods weren't too fond of the gods or goddesses that weren't their parents. Minus me that is, my dad was pretty high on the dislike lost at this moment.

"Lovely to see you again Leo, sorry your last love didn't work out," she smirked before walking out the door, hopefully going back to Olympus.

"Wait is she the cause of your breakup?" I wondered, the jobs of the gods not really a strong suit of mine, even as of late.

"She controls everyone's relationships and love life. Cupid is her son afterall, but it seems she's not on his side with whatever is going on. Anyway, she'll go to great lengths to test just how much love people can have for one another. Before Piper became head counselor, her siblings would often get people to fall for them only to break their hearts later on, like some twisted game. Since then you have to be weary around Aphrodite and her children," he explained and we went back to laying down. This time enjoying the calm silence that over took the room.

"Before we were interrupted, I felt like I was meant to find you too when we first met. It might've been only a few days, but those feelings only expand," I admit trying to keep cool, but it's hard when you're around someone you have feelings for.

The next thing happened so fast, I was lying there and next thing he was hovering over me. Not wasting a second as our lips melted together, it definitely wasn't my first kiss but this one was better than that one. I knew it was probably his first kiss with a boy, but he never hesitated making the first move.

My breath hitched as I wrapped my arms around his waist, gently tugging at the ends of his t-shirt. His hands were on either side of my head, as he straddled me. It only lasted a few seconds but it seemed endless to us. As we blocked out the world around us, oblivious to the guys watching us in the doorway.

"Yep I'd definitely say Leo's back to himself now," Jason smirked looking at his friends before they closed the door, leaving them along.....
